“1st class cabin in the forest”

A beautiful spot in the woods just out of Jeffersonville, Vermont. Cabins in idyllic setting, well spaced out with lots of privacy. Site offers an outdoor pool (seasonal) and hot tub - which we used in October. There is a games room with pool, table tennis etc but the real attraction is the setting. It is so quiet and peaceful, the trees are wonderful and there is a small pond and larger pool on site. The cabins are of a high standard, well-equipped and smell of cedarwood as you enter. We had a studio cabin, with the bed in the living room, but it was so spacious and everything provided was of a high standard. The only issue for some might be that it is quite a walk into Jeffersonville, a lovely small New England town. We had to take the car out on a night as it was out of season and too far to walk back in the dark. Would LOVE to stay here again.

Area recommendations

Jeffersonville is a small town with a great museum and gallery.Lots of trails and pleasant walks from the site. Stowe, the quintessential New England town, is an easy drive over Smugglers Notch and has more to see and do. We enjoyed Burlington (a bigger town with a1 hr. ferry to New York state) about 1 hours drive from the cabins.

When to go

We went early October for the fall folkiage but were too early this year. It was noit quite peak but still stunning. You could see the leaves outside tyour window changing each day.

Dining

Had excellent meals 2 nights in 158 Main in Jeffersonville.
