“Awesome”

“Much Improved”

A few years ago, this hotel was getting frayed around the edges. A remodel/redecoration has greatly improved the appearance and comfort, it's very nice now. The bed is as comfortable as any. Only downside is that there's one set of elevators to floor 14 and another to floors 15 +, So if you're traveling with others and have different elevator access you have to go to lobby level to get to your fellow travelers elevators.

“Great location”

Hotel is within walking distance of all tourist attractions. The hotel also provides a shuttle from the airport or train station. Nice room with all the amenities. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and a quieter temperature system. Would recommend for tourists or conventioneers.

“Best Hotel in a Boring Town”

The Hilton is the tallest building in Springfield, which probably says something about this "city". Service is friendly, rooms are comfortable, and it's very conveniently located in the center of town. It has it's own Starbucks too. On the downside, the "center of town" is pretty devoid of nearby fine dining, nightlife, etc. There are, however, lot's of historical sites within walking distance of the hotel; including the old and current state capitol buildings, the Lincoln presidential library and musuem, Lincoln's cabin, etc... If you're staying in Springfield, I don't think you could find a nicer hotel.

“Great Location”

This hotel is in the perfect location for anyone who is visiting with the intent on seeing the Lincoln Museum, Presidential Lilbrary, and the Lincoln Home. Very nice amenities and located near several restaurants.

Area recommendations

You should also visit Charlie Parker's Diner for breakfast. It is excellent. The food is great, portions are generous. Your wallet doesn't suffer either.

“Greatr Hilton in Springfield”

This is a perfect Hotel for a family that wants to spend a couple days seeing all of the Licoln attractions in Springfield, IL

“Totally Impressed!”

Immediately upon arrival at the hotel, we had someone helping us unload our bags and assisting us with check-in. All staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby was clean and the decor was very attractive. The room was clean, comfortable, the decor was very nice and the amenities were great. The elevator ride to the top of the hotel gave us a view of the entire city. The hotel was conveniently located to all of the major tourist attractions (except one) and within walking distance. There was a parking garage, which they validated parking for. An adjoining Starbucks was a plus. There is also an adjoining Bennigan's, which was great for a late dinner. The hotel has a unique tower shape, is 30-stories high and can be seen all over town, no matter where you might be. I was totally impressed with this hotel, I would stay there again and I highly recommend it.

“Good stay”

Check in was quick and efficient. The room was very comfortable. We were there such a short time that it is hard to say any more.
