My shower was clogged and water came to my ankles. I called the front desk for help and they told me that they could not help me. The vending machine didnt work, the front desk acted confused and did not attempt to solve. The laundry facilities did not work. Upon check in i was told I'd be refunded if i left early, this was not true, so I was charged a day longer than i actually stayed

I loved everything. The laundry facilities were bery nice. The staff are great. Walking distance to Springfield Town Center. Nuce surroundubgs for walking the dog.

I booked my room through Expedia for the Extended Stay America Suites Washington DC Springfield. Before I booked the hotel, I called them to inquire about late check-out times and they responded that late check out is by the hour. I told them I was going to book the room and checkout late the next day. I booked through Expedia and I received a confirmation and itinerary number. Once I got to the hotel, before I could say anything, the front desk worker said “we don’t have any rooms”. I said ma’am “I’m checking in, I’ve already booked a room”. She said “yeah, but don’t have any rooms”. She pulled up my reservation and said, we didn’t charge you because there are no rooms available. I never got any emails from the hotel or Expedia bout rooms being sold out-but my card still had a *pending* charge. The problem is, the hotel could not provide anything such as a print out or email stating they were sold out. The hotel didn’t cancel my reservation. When I searched online, I was still able to book another room with the same hotel - I did not but just checking. They were not showing “Sold Out”. At this point I felt like my room was possibly given to someone else. I was finally able to reach out to Expedia and they were able to get my reservation cancelled and they reversed the charges. But it left me having to find somewhere else to stay. My overall rating was a 1 because of my experience-but I cannot speak to the cleanliness of the rooms and other services. Not a good experience.

Waited 20 minutes to check into hotel, room had bad odor, the window was opened so I assumed they were trying to air out the hotel, only one staff member present for the whole hotel, couldn’t get extra sheets or cleaning, no other rooms available had no choice but to stay in dirty room.

OK for one night for the lowest room price in the area. I have never stayed at a residential hotel before so maybe this is usual and I only know about one room. Room 230 is very tired and stained. TV and hairdryer did not work and there was a major leak in the sink which left a big puddle on the floor over night. No electrical outlets on the nightstands. No dishes or anything in kitchen but it looks like you just have to ask for them at the front desk. Front desk should have offered them. On the plus side the room was as clean as it could get. The shower worked well with plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable and linens and towels seemed freshly washed. Wifi worked well. I felt safe as the place was well-lit and staffed. Personnel was kind but did not explain advertised "breakfast." Breakfast is coffee, granola bars and packets of instant oatmeal. Hopefully this hotel is a work in progress. It had lots of other guests I assume are there for extended stays. They seemed decent and happy.

I liked the assistant manager Orzo. He was so attentive, friendly, professional and looked after me like I was a member of his family. Because of him, I will be telling and encouraging my friends to stay in this facilities. It was a great place to be. For me this was an excellent place to live especially for an extended time. I’ve been here for almost a month and everything has been great. It’s conveniently located near attractions, shopping, grocery stores and extremely quiet. You can cook, wash clothes when needed, and even use a small gym. I’m absolutely loving being here. Thank you extended stay!!
