“Small but friendly”
Had a great few days spent in Split staying at this small but very friendly and helpful hotel. Rooms were clean and weel kept. Staff only too happy to answer queswtiuons and give advice on best means of transport to nearby sights. Restaurant available for evening meals as well as breakfast.
“Location was excellent!”
The Villa Diana offered an excellent location, great service, free parking, and an outstanding breakfast. We were lucky to get a room on the first floor (up one level from the ground floor), since there is no elevator to the second or third floor. Matthew was willing to do anything to please, however. Parking near the old city is difficult, to say the least. The free parking was a real plus. The old city was only a five minute walk away. The bathroom was small, but nicely tiled. The view from our room included a glimpse of the sea. The room was quiet, even being on a main street. And there was free Wi-Fi. We enjoyed our two night stay the beginning of October and have pleasant memories of it.
“Very pleased”
Villa Dina were very accommodating. They changed my room to a double as originally requested but did not make a fuss when I asked them. They were all very informative and helpful. The younge man there made was very welcoming and liked to chat a lot. Was allowed to use the internet which was really helpful. Was helped with the French windows when I asked.

Stayed here with a friend and was very impressed with the location of the hotel. Staff was the most helpful I've ever come across. Great place to stay.
“Would love to go back”
The hotel has 6 rooms, stupidly,when booking, I did not request a room on the lower floor and we had the top room, my husband is getting elderly and could have done without the climb! Villa Diana is very conveniently placed to walk, 5-10 mins, to the wharf and Diocletian's Palace, such a great place to wander around. All the staff were so helpful and our stay of 4 nights was thoroughly enjoyed. Split & its surrounding countryside is great to explore, so glad we hired a car. The 7 night trip from Split to Dubrovnic and back to Split on 'Tuna' belonging to Katarina Line was fantastic fun.
