“Sleepless. Noisy untill 5 or 6 in the morning.”
The Hotel is nice and staff is really helpful. The view from the rooms (sea side) is gorgeus, and the bar dowstairs is very good. Standard rooms are a bit too small and breakfast is just OK (not many choices), but my main concern is the noise. Clients from a disco bar just a few meters away do not stop shouting and partying till 5 or 6 o'clock in the morning. Definitely to avoid unless your sleep is similar to an hibernating bear or wish to party all night..
“Nice hotel in the heart of town”
Nice hotel right in the heart of the town on the waterfront. The guy that checked us in was very eager to help, and gave a big smile everything we passed by. Rooms are modern, though quite full! Not much room between the big double bed and walls, but the view of the harbour out the window was quite special. Waking up and looking out at the water below was lovely. Breakfast was good (and included in price, though I wish they'd serve fresh orange juice instead of squash), drinks and food were pricey. However, you kind of realise that the prices are going to be a little expensive when you see the massive yachts backing into their moorings outside. Nice to sit on the patio in front of hotel and watch the world go by. The fast ferry from Split lets people off right outside the hotel, so very convenient for ferry passengers. Hvar is a car-free town in the centre, so if you are driving you need to park round the harbour in the Hotel Bodul car park. The Bodul is actually closed and boarded up, so we left the car in an empty car park - but no worries, it was there when we picked it up the next day! The walk is about 10-15 minutes round a small cove, but you pass the monastery on the way and a small shingle beach where people were lapping up the sun.
“Only stayed one night, but wished could have extended it.”
First the remodel of the hotel was incredible. We read comments of a small room, but we had one of the rooms on the top floor that had a slant as if it where part of the attic converted. Nonetheless we had tremendous amount of room. Internet wireless was included, and the location was premier. We allotted one night during our trip, but compared to other hotels, we should have extended our trip in Hvar in this hotel. A+
