“very good hotel and position and had a great stay.taxi access poor but you can push/pull luggage 300”

backpackers delight so dont carry too much baggage.good 3-4 star position/hotel.. the ladies will lug your bags up the stairs.

“Great place to stay”

Although this place is located in the walking portion of Split,it is a great place to stay. It is centrally located and all of the staff are friendly, helpful and excellent resources. Everything is within walking distance. My single recommendation is to advuse interested travelers they will need to walk to the B and B and provide a map. We came by train and the cab driver was telling us where to go but we did not understand the language

“Small Hotel convenient to city center”

The young woman at the desk was outstanding. Hotel is small and located at the edge of Diocletian's Palace. Only public parking is available, and it is about 400 yards away near the ferry terminal. Hotel has no elevator so be prepared to haul your luggage a long way. The waterfront Riva is steps away, and thus you are at the focal point of the city's cafe and restaurant scene.

Traveller's tip
Make sure you have very explicit directions for finding the hotel, since it's entrance is on an obscure alley and no signage is visible from main pedestrian areas. You cannot get anywhere near the hotel with a car.

“besser ist eigentlich unmöglich”

Lage, Ausstattung und Preis stimmen hier perfekt. Eine (nicht aufgesetzte) Freundlichkeit des Personals haben uns ein Gefühl des Willkommens vermittelt, die wirklich selten zu finden ist.

“Ottima collocazione in pieno centro storico”

Ritengo che questa esperienza sia certamente da riprovare in quanto purtrroppo per il nostro poco tempo a disposizione (due giornate) non abbiamo potuto visitare altri luoghi nei pressi della cittadina (ad es. le isole di Braq e Hvar) che riteniamo siano davvero significativi sia dal punto di vista naturaiistico che in quello meramente vacanziero intendendo con ciò l'ambito di chi desidera trascorrere qualche ora di relax in riva al mare con relativo bagno in questo bellissimo mare dal colore turchese intenso. Altra cosa degna di essere sottolineata è la qualità dei ristoranti del posto, consigliati anche dallo stesso personale dell'albergo, ove si possono gustare a prezzi davvero onesti ottime specialità marinare cucinate in maniera davvero sublime, situazione che in Italia risulta assai difficile, quantomeno nel prezzo.

Ritengo che Il percorso via nave (da Ancona, ad es.) sia il più idoneo in quanto consente di abbreviare il percorso di avvicinamento dall'Italia. Il percorso via terra è senz'altro molto lungo e per fare ciò occorre senz'altro spezzare il tragitto con un pernottameto intermedio.
