“We will pass on our recommendation to any body wishing to stay in Split”

The hotel was perfect. We highly recommend The Sunce, It was very clean and modern. In summer it would be fantastic as right on the beach. Excellent food and helpful staff.

Area recommendations
The Old town and southern beaches along the shore line in the direction of Omis.

“On the beach”

Very clean, cheery room with balcony overlooking the beach. Nice, modern facilities. Breakfast was good. Attentive, friendly service. A bit far from the center of Split, but bus service was close to hotel. Taxis were available, but about $30 from or to the city center.

“zentral gelegen für Ausflüge”

Dieses Hotel ist gut geeignet für einen Individualurlaub, bei dem man viel unterwegs ist. Man kann die Sehenswürdigkeiten Dalmatiens in alle Richtungen perfekt erreichen, wenn man mit Mietwagen unterwegs ist. Ansonsten erhält man im Hotel auch Unterstützung, wenn man sich für organisierte Ausflüge interessiert. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, allerdings entschädigte dafür der Balkon mit herrlichem Blick über das Meer auf die gegenüberliegende Insel Brac. Näher am Meer geht nicht ! Der kleine Strand ist gepflegt, man kann gut dort baden und sich sonnen, aber als reines Strandhotel kann man das Sunce nicht bezeichnen. Rechts und links liegen weitere Gebäude, die wohl hauptsächlich Pensionen oder Appartments sind. Das Frühstück ist nicht vergleichbar mit der Auswahl eines großen Hotels, aber es ist für jeden etwas dabei und die frischen Pancakes waren köstlich. Wir haben einmal dort zu Abend gegessen und dieses Menü war sehr schmackhaft. Wer den Komfort und Trubel eines großen Strandhotels sucht, ist hier falsch aufgehoben. Es geht familiär und beschaulich zu. Wir empfehlen einen Blick auf die Internetseite des Sunce. Dort gibt es Panoramaaufnahmen des ganzen Hauses und der Aussicht, die sehr aussagefähig sind.

Area recommendations
Unser absoluter Favorit: die Mittelalterstadt Trogir. Einfach urig ! Und für Naturfans natürlich die Nationalparks Krka und Plevicer Seen, aber auch eine Fahrt durch das Gebirge. Dort gibt es herrliche Wanderwege. Auch unbedingt einplanen: eine Inselkreuzfahrt, ab besten ab Murder oder Zendac. Das Hotel liegt perfekt zentral für Ausflüge die Küste rauf und runter, ins Gebirge und auf die Inseln. Alles etwa gleich weit weg.
Getting there
Per Croatia Airline nach Split und dort am Flughafen einen Mietwagen übernehmen, damit ist man unabhängig und flexibel. Die gut ausgebaute Autobahn ist dünn befahren und kostet Maut. Man kann mit Euro bezahlen.

“Finger weg vom Hotel Sunce!”

Das Hotel ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen! Wir hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer mit Meerblick und getrennten Betten gebucht. Die Zimmer sahen auf der Website des Hotels auch ziemlich groß aus. Als wir ankamen, machte man uns jedoch in unverschämter Art und Weise klar, dass wir 2 Nächte in einem winzigen Zimmer (ohne Meerblick, dafür mit Straßenlärm die ganze Nacht über und einem schmalen Doppelbett) verbringen müssen. Auf unsere Beschwerde hin wurde die Rezeptionistin pampig, barsch und unhöflich. Sie sagte, unser Zimmer sei bereits vergeben und sie könne ja wohl kaum die Leute rausschmeißen. Auch auf die Aufforderung, uns wenigstens eine Kompensation für die entgangene Urlaubsfreude (schließlich hatten wir uns z.B. auf einen Balkon mit Meerblick eingestellt), geschah nichts. Wir werden GARANTIERT NIE wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten!!!

Area recommendations
Split und Dubrovnik sind sehr schöne Städte! Podstrana liegt direkt am Meer; letzteres ist wunderschön, türkis und super sauber.

“absolut tolles, kleinesHotel, mit der besonderen, persönlichen Note”

Wer Hotels mit Ambiente und Persönlichkeit mag, der muss dieses Hotel wählen. Direkt am Wasser, tolles Zimmer, liebe Gastgeber, gute Essen und deutsches TV. Was will man mehr? DANKE!!!

“Hotel Sunce - ein tolles Hotel mit einer wunderschönen Lage”

Das Hotel Sunce ist ein sehr schönes, direkt am Strand gelegenes Hotel. Es präsentiert sich mit einem eigenen Restaurant, Innenpool und mehreren Wellness-Angeboten. Die meisten Zimmer besitzen nach meinem Wissen, direkten Meerblick, sowie eine Terrasse zum Meer hin. Desweiteren gehört ein sehr sauberes Bad, eine Klimaanlage und ein TV zur Ausstattung des Zimmers. Die Betten sind sauber und in Ordnung. Die Frühstücks und gleichzeitig Restaurantterrasse befindet sich ebenfalls frontal zum Meer. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist lecker und abwechslungsreich. Bei leeren Platten, Schüsseln etc. wurde sofort nachgefüllt.

“Direkte Strandlage (Kiesstrand, Badeschuhe mitnehmen!)”

Ideales Hotel wenn man einen Mietwagen hat. Am Strand gibt es 2-3 Lokale die man zu Fuß schnell erreicht.
