“Nice hotel but no AC in one of the hottest places”

our room was decent with a nice balcony and a nice view. However rooms weren't cleaned daily. Location was really good, 10 minute walk away from the port. The restaurant at the hotel was always busy because the food was really good. The breakfast was so-so. the huge downfall is the fact that the rooms dont have AC. we were there in mid july and it was in the 40s in the daytime and not much cooler at night.

Getting there
took a fast ferry from split and it was around 10 kunas one way.
Dining
The food in croatia is great. Make sure to have grilled calamari in hvar and try croatian pastries such as burek!
Nightlife
Make sure to go to Carpe diem beach club and if you're there during yacht week, it should be busy in the daytime too. At night, a water taxi will take people from the beach club to the another extension of the club and its entirely outdoor in the middle of the forrest--really unique.
Outdoors or beach
Make sure to check out the beaches and tan on the rocks. beds are relatively cheap compared to other european beaches that charge upwards of 10 euros. If I remember correctly it was 5 or 6 euros per bed.

“Great location, very average hotel”

The Delfin Hvar Harborcourt hotel is basically a glorified hostel. I ordered a single room and ended up in one with three beds, which was no great problem, but no TV, no aircon, and a broken shower? I ate in the restaurant and was served what was obviously a frozen pizza. Would never eat there again. But the location is fantastic - especially if you're into the party night life - so if that's important and you can overlook everything that is below average, then it's worth considering.

“hotel sur le port”

Il est étonnant que l'hotel n'ait ni clim, ni même de ventilateur. les fenêtre donnant sur une discothèque, on a le choix entre étouffer de chaud ou entendre de la musique très forte toute la nuit. De plus, pour accèder au parking (public), il faut monter environ 100 marches. HOTEL à éviter par forte chaleur !!! (PS Il n'y a pas la télé dans les chambres)
