“Pleasantly Surprised at this Homestay-style Experience”

When booking this place, keep in mind that it's not a hotel per se- it's much more like a homestay experience than a hotel. The lady who owns the place is very nice though! The place is located in a great place- it's quite close to the Diocletian's palace (around 2 min walk to the nearest entrance), but yet it's removed enough from the palace for it to be very quiet and private. It's around a 15 minute trek from the bus stop area, so keep that in mind, especially if you have heavy/large pieces of luggage that may be a bit difficult to roll over cobblestone sections of the roads to the place. If you're looking for a very affordable and convenient place to stay in Split. then this is highly recommended.

Area recommendations
As most people go to Split for leisure, try your best to stay near the Diocletian's Palace as that is where most of the excitement happens, especially if you don't access to a car or private transportation to get around.
