Excellent hotel, fabulous location, wonderful stay. We stayed in one of the newly denovated suites in a building a couple of blocks away from the main building (also in the Spanish Square), if there is anything to note it's that the building is not connected to the main building and it's a 3 minute walk away. Also, the elevator in the building with the new suites only has one stop - the 4th floor, then you have to walk down to the suites on the 3rd floor. This was not an issue for us as we loved being in an older building and used the stairs, however thought I would mention that this as it's not for everyone.
Excellent central hotel, very comfortable and classic. Beautiful decor. Being close to the famous sights eg 10 minutes walk to Trevi fountain, we were concerned that it might be noisey but very calm and quiet. Definitely recommend this delightful hotel, a great base for a trip to Rome. A lovely buffet breakfast.
Edwardian Hotel in amazing condition, it was even better than the photographs. The staff were not especially friendly, the same staff seemed to be on duty most of the time. The gentleman in charge at breakfast was the most pleasant and very efficient, breakfast was more than ample in a beautiful Edwardian dining room. Lovely white bed linen and towels. I would recommend going up to the roof terrace for a cocktail, expensive but lovely view of the Basilica opposite and the Spanish steps. We had a room facing the main street and the was live music on the pavement outside every evening which we enjoyed. We took the tour bus of the City, but catch the first one to ensure a seat upstairs. The city taxi's to and from the airport have a set charge which is displayed on the door & very reasonable. There were plenty of Taxi's from outside the Hotel, make sure to only use the one's with a badge on the door & a meter.
My sister and I stayed here for a birthday celebration. The location was of the hotel was excellent and the staff extremely welcoming. Nothing was too much bother for them. Our room was on the third floor overlooking via lavatore but the double glazing was so efficient you couldn't hear any of the chaos downstairs (only if you wanted to). We had a fantastic time and although it is my 9th visit to rome probably my most enjoyable

We stayed here for 5 days and couldn't have loved it more! Francesca arranged for airport pick up which was wonderful and convenient. Simone showed us around and let us in our room. Then Lola was perfect, bringing us a delicious breakfast in bed and making reservations for us! The wifi worked well. This hotel was near major bus stations and key sites! We will stay here again.
Great location, walking distance to many of the main sights - Trevi fountain just around the corner, Spanish steps and Pantheon all short distances. Not too far to the Vatican either. Off the main road so a bit quieter than some of the city centre hotels.
