“TITUSVILLE SUPER 8 A "10"!”

The staff at this Super 8 were all very friendly and excellent! The owner, Vinnie, and his family were all very cordial and kind and caring throughout our six-night stay for the last Space Shuttle launch. The Garden Bar and Grill, also owned and operated by Vinne, was a fun respite each nite with friendly and informative locals. My daughter and I had a blast there! Sharon and Liz and Amber were great hostesses and made us feel like VIPs :-). We met Capt. Don Walker and his lovely wife there as well and my daughter and I had a fantastic airboat ride with this knowledgeable captain at Loughman Lodge. Very wonderful people made this wonderful property a joy for our father/daughter vacation!! MUCH RECOMMENDED!!! Blake and "Bug" Lawrence

“sleep on the beach instead”

This hotel was a mess. The rooms wew filthy from windows ,floors and bathrooms. Sheets were not changed during our stay. Television was inoperative, we had to program a new remote ourselves as there was no help on the premises. Wifi was available less than 10% of the time. Bath towels were old and looked and felt like used dishtowels. The one package of cofee provided in the room was not replenished. We stayed at this hotel for three days because we had been requred to prepay. We left early each morning and reluctantly returned late at nite.We would have been better off sleeping on the beach!!!!

“DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!”

AWFUL! STAY AWAY!!!!! WHEN WE CHECKED IN, THERE WAS A GUY IN HIS UNDERWEAR WANTING A BUCKET FOR ICE. THE LADY AT THE HOTEL DID NOT EVEN ASK HIM TO PUT CLOTHES ON. THIS PLACE WAS THE WORST. NOISE ALL NIGHT, FOLKS USING DRILLS AND JACKING UP CARS TO FIX THEM IN THE PARKING LOT. THE ROOM WAS OLD, RUN DOWN, BURNS IN THE BED SPREAD, CARPETS OLD. WE ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT. PAID FOR 2. JUST LEFT AND GOT A ROOM IN TITUSVILLE AT THE RAMADA, NEXT TO THE DENNY'S. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE MONEY ALL I CAN SAY IS I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A REVIEW, BUT I FEEL NO-ONE ELSE SHOULD BE RIPPED OFF OR SUBJECTED TO THIS TYPE OF HOTEL.

“good hotel”

Hotel was good. We only stayed one night, but therefore and for the price it was more than we expected. Staff was very friendly and courteous.

“Stay there if you can't get a room elsewhere.”

Tiny room. Location really not as close as was assumed. Got two double beds, as opposed to two queens. Had to unplug microwave and refrigerator in order to access ac outlets to recharge laptops, cell phones, and camera batteries. The breakfast lacked variety, as compared with other motels I had stayed at.

“2-star room with 4 -star staff !”

The room was inexpensive, the furniture was typical late 90's era. It was a hotel, we didnt go to florida to stay in a room. The staff, early and late were really helpful and courteous along with housekeeping. The hotel was away from the others, one turn and 4 mins away you were in downtown Titusville. There is also a a gas station/mini mart right up the drive which is handy when you get a craving for something you can walk and the area is well lit. A mexican food restaraunt is in the same parking lot, good food and good margaritas.

Area recommendations

Well it was December so beaches were a no go and the casino boats are closed down so we went to Cocoa and made a trip to Daytona to watch the dogs race. Oh yeah , if you are traveling with kids or like animals yourself you must go see the giraffe's at Brevard Zoo. Its a small zoo so its not an all day thing but the giraffe's are great, you can buy crackers and feed them.
