“Would highly recommend.”

We had a one night stay heading for our cruise. Loved the pool area and grounds. It really felt like a resort. We would definitely book this hotel for our next cruise.

Area recommendations

We didn't get to sight-see as it was a one night stay prior to our cruise. We were impressed with the port area and found it very organized.

“Rude front desk staff”

Upon entering the hotel we had the pleasure of listening to the troubles of the four guests in front of us and all the issues they were having. Once it was our turn the staff was short-tempered and had difficulty finding our reservation with the confirmation numbers listed on the paper we handed them. We reserved a queen bed and had a room with two beds. Concierge was not a good fit for this position, he was very fidgety and didn't remember us each time we spoke to him in the span of an hour. Location is close to ports but not in walking distance of anything if you had time to explore. We didn't want to rent a car for a few hours. Didn't find out until walking 1/4 mile later to the chamber office that there is a trolley that picks up in front of our hotel. Hotel staff did not office any guidance, suggestions, etc.

Area recommendations

If you are cruising from Port Canaveral, stay in Orlando and arrange for ground transportation from there to get to your ship.

“It was convenient”

This is a very convenient hotel for people about to embark on a cruise from Port Canaveral. The hotel itself was fine - we didn't end up making use of any of the "resort" type amenities, but it didn't seem too fancy overall. There were external walkways (though elevators were available), and a bunch of kids running past our room all evening. The front desk staff weren't terribly outgoing but they were deluged with people about to leave on a cruise. The maintenance staff were very friendly every time we passed them on the walkways. Overall, it was fine as a place to stay but I didn't get much of a "resort" feeling here.

“Very classy hotel”

My four day stay was very pleasant. The room was very comfortable. It would have been fantastic if the hotel provided a complementary breakfast.

“Great place to stay before crusin”

The location is perfect for those getting ready to go on a cruise or just to relax afterwards. The room was spacious with comfortable beds. I was disappointed with the front desk service because was not acknowledged during check in or check out until I cleared my throat repeatedly. But, overall the location was great: near the port, and resturants.

“Big Hotel; Nice but noisy.”

Pros: Beautiful, clean, well decorated rooms with SleepNumber beds. Microwave and refrigerator and kitchenette in room. Hotel has several park and cruise packages available. Large walkin closet. Cons: Room was extremely noisy. Despite the enormous size of the resort, large number of rooms, and the remote location of room, I was placed next door to a family that made noise all night long. Additionally, the building entry door banged all night long. In the room, shower dripped, noisy refrigerator cycled, etc. very noisy ambience in room. There was shower only (no tub) in my room. If you prefer a tub please check before making reservation, and/or request a room with tub. Hotel has several park and cruise packages available. Vending machines in the bulding were completely empty. There is a small charge to ride shuttle to Port Canaveral Cruise Ships about one mile away when most hotels offer free shuttle services if you do not have car. Hotel Restaurant is pricey, there is no breakfast is included with room price. There is only a McDonalds and an "iffy" Greek restaurant within walking distance.

Area recommendations

If you are interested in staying near the port for easy boarding of the cruise ships, this hotel is probably a good or better choice than most. Since it is near the port, there are not a lot of activities or restaurants in the immediate area to choose from. If you are flying into town for a cruise, I would recommend that you fly into Orlando, not the Melbourne Airport, as the choices for hotels and shuttle services are much better from the primary Orlando airport for this cruise port.

If you are interested in staying near the port for easy boarding of the cruise ships, this hotel is probably a good or better choice than most. Since it is near the port, there are not a lot of activities or restaurants in the immediate area to choose from. Expect to pay to park or ride a shuttle to the port from you airport to the hotel. The port is small and there can be delays and traffic problems when arriving or departing by shuttle. Allow yourself extra time for airline connections.

“Pre cruise stay”

Stayed for one night prior to a cruise. The hotel has a free shuttle over to the port and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We took a taxi to nearby Fish Lips on the water. Room was small but clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Pool is nice too.

“Dirty furniture, sheets. NOT Impressed!”

Housekeeping brought another blanket, however, it had dog hair on it too. The sheets had hair in them. Couldn't wait to leave! Didn't want to put my things on the couch! The only reason we stayed is for the transport/parking for the cruise!
