“Not impressed”

We stayed as this was on our route and we wanted to a place to stay just for the night. The price is good, hotel is conveniently located, the staff is friendly and the room has all the basic amenities. The only thing that was wrong, and that is a big one for us, is that the rooms smelt slightly moldy. We changed rooms, with the same result. As it was late in the night and the person at the lobby was accommodating, we decided to stay on. But will never go back again. I am surprised that this is a Best Western hotel.

“trip 2011”

This hotel was right off the I-95. Across the street was a IHOP, food was good. The hotel was only about a 30 minute drive from the beach, right on the same road.

“Not impressed”

We have stayed in numerous Best Western hotels and this was the worst by far. We chose this hotel because of it's location about 20 mins from Kennedy Space Centre and not far off I95. When we walked into room you could smell the cleaning products even the bed linens. We both woke up the next morning with bites. On the 2nd day housekeeping took the towels and didn't replace. We had to go to reception to talk to someone and were told we could only have the pool towels. The guy gave us 2 hand towels and wasn't happy to give us any more. The rooms were noisyand breakfast not good. The cereal was soggy and fruit overripe. We wouldn't stay again. Alternatives are close by.

Area recommendations

The hotel is 1 minute off I95, 10 minutes from beaches and 20 minutes from Kennedy Space Centre. Both the space centre and the beaches are worth a visit.

“Overall good deal”

I saw that this hotel had a lower review on Google Maps when I was searching, but those people were wrong. This hotel had a friendly staff, good location, and the room was very clean. The bathroom was spotless and appeared to have a brand new tub in it. The pool was spotless and the grounds were well-kept. The continental breakfast was more than adequate. The beds were not the most comfortable, but at that price point, one needs to adjust his/her expectations. Very convenient to get on/off I-95 as well as travel to Cocoa Beach and Kennedy Space Center. Very satisfied!

People traveling long distances and need a 1-night hotel. Those visiting Cocoa Beach and Kennedy Space Center.

“Recommended family to stay there”

Pool area was beautiful - recommend a first floor poolside view. Only issue was the pool was heated and a little less refreshing on an extremely hot July day! Clean room. Nice breakfast. Fridge and microwave were excellent as was able to take to room breakfast for our early 5am departure the next day.

“Comfortable and convenient for a reasonable price”

Value for money was excellent. The room was comfortable, free Wi-Fi and HBO was a nice touch, and staff was very friendly.

“Easy to get to”

This location was easy to get to - right off the highway. I was unimpressed with the "lounge" that was attached to the main building, it seemed rather seedy and brought down the overall feel of the place. My room was located on the inside of the courtyard - my room was quiet and clean.

“Best Western Cocoa Beach”

The hotel was priced really low so therefore I didnt expect to greatly impressed with the hotel. The room appeared to be clean although it smelled a little musty. Overall it was what I expected for the amount of money we paid. Travelers should be aware that it is located right next to a truck stop so we did hear the noice pick up a little later in the night as truckers were starting to book in for a nights stay. We stayed in the room one night before setting sail on the Disney Wonder. Approx 15 miles from the port and very easy to get to.

“not impressed”

The hotel needs many updates. The beds were awful, the worst I've ever slept in. The carpeting was sticky, very dirty. I would never stay there again.
