My wife and I drove from Ascot, Berkshire to visit family in Formby, we decided to a hotel in Southport, so we booked through Expedia, and we believe we made a good choice.
Even though we only stayed one night, we think the hotel has a lot to offer. If we visit the area in future, we will try to book at The Vincent Hotel.
We had a great night in this hotel, fantastic view with a four poster bed, room was spacious and clean, are room was in a turret at the front on the hotel so we had a panoramic view of the sea front and gardens.
Stayed at the Ramada hotel in a room for three adults. The reception staff at booking in and out were excellent, professional and offered really good customer service. My mum who is disabled in a wheelchair was given a Health and safety protocol and it was really thorough. The room was spotless and ideal for 3 adults. Did not stay for dinner or drinks but the breakfast for £10.00 each was lovely with lots of different types of food to suit all. The area surrounding the hotel was great. Lord Street was a five minute walk and 1 minute walk was an outdoor eating area and offered a singer who was actually very good. A lovely day and at night finished off outside the Marina having Champagne and strawberry's outside the Marina. (We brought our own) lovely.
From start to finish, all aspects of our stay exceeded our expectations. Initial welcome from the owners was warm and friendly, and we instantly felt at home. We were also greeted by their lovely dog Baxter, such a handsome, big softie. First impressions on arriving at the hotel were that it was very clean and extremely well presented. Our rooms were also very clean, furnished and decorated to a high standard and very well equipped (freeview TV, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, safe, toiletries, cotton wool, etc). Very impressed! Breakfast was taken at a time to suit ourselves, which was very much appreciated and we were able to eat at our own pace without being rushed. There was an excellent choice of food on offer and what we ate was delicious, well presented and of the highest quality. To summarise we would highly recommend a stay at this hotel and will most definitely return.
This was a mini break at a comfortable B&B. Room was clean but needed updating. En suite was very small but served its purpose. Plenty of hot water and heating. Tea and coffee facilities in room with biscuits. Fresh milk if required -nice touch. Also honesty bar with drinks and chocolate if you don't want to go out. Close to all shops and amenities. John was a good host and works very hard to keep the B&B running smoothly. Great choice at breakfast and lovely fruit.

Hotel was lovely & clean. Room was spacious and decor was tasteful. Cookies & aero's in the room was a lovely touch. We were able to get into our room much earlier than stated. Dave & Judith were both very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Cooked breakfast was nicely cooked and hot. Good selection of breakfast alternatives.
