Nobody was at the front desk for 5-10 minutes to check us in. Once checked in, the KB eyes had not been programmed and didn’t work. The hall outside the room smelled of pot. The room floors had not been swept and were Sandy.

Room was adequate but needs improvement
The staff was nice but the room was not comfortable in that it was lacking in a couple of things. The room was so dark with only a couple of lamps that weren't even that bright. It felt like a cave. And there was only one hook on the bathroom door with no towel bars for towels. It's not convenient, especially when there are 3 people in the room that need space to hang towels and wash cloths. It was clean and adequate otherwise.

Dirty towel folded up and put where clean towels were. Fixtures in bathtub old, rusty. All pillows very lumpy. HVAC very loud. Carpet in hallway outside of room not vacuumed. Food is not edible. Coffee terrible. Have stayed here before and it has gone downhill. Will never stay here again.

Cleanliness was okay but the room smell old and musty. Like sewage coming back up the pipe. Had to keep spraying air freshener to be able to tolerate stay there. Breakfast was a disappointment. Not enough variety and whatever was there was gone by 6:45 am. The reason we picked to stay there was for the breakfast. We go to Pinehurst often for golf and breakfast was the main attraction for us. Sorry not going to stay there again.

While the staff was polite, they could not provide any wash cloths and only one towel and one hand towel. We asked for two of each. The hall carpet was dirty and torn. There were bugs in the room.

It was ok - but the front staff was very poor. They had a delivery of food (including perishables) that was left in the hallway at approximately 4PM. When we returned back from dinner at 9:30PM most of the boxes were still there. I informed the front desk person (who had been there all time) and her response was "I can't be 2 places at one time - I'll get to it." Needless to say - there was no chance we would eat breakfast the next day. (Breakfast was awful anyway - the worst I've experienced) A positive end to the story is that my wife ran into the owner and let them know of the experience and food issues. They made us aware of the front desk person was fired that morning and all the perishables had been thrown away. Hopefully it was just a staffing issue - the hotel is in a great spot. Not sure I would go back or recommend.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The Management and staff decided they liked my property more then I deserved it back. I called them the same day they confirmed that they had my shorts and shirt said they would hold them until I sent them a shipping label which I did the same day. But they kept them and lied about sending me them back to me. I hate thief's.
