“A great experience and not too far from downtown Plymouth”
The hotel lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas. When we arrived Thanksgiving evening, there were families cozied up by the two gas fireplaces. Very Norman Rockwell for a Hilton! My daughter enjoyed the pool one evening, and the exercise room had 3 treadmills with attached TVs (and the exercise room was very clean).
“Cold Bird Bath”
It would have been alright if the hotel had hot water, the whole hotel had no hot water when we checked in. We were going to a surprise 40th birthday party and my wife hd to take a cold bird bath in the sink before she got ready. When I told the individual at the time of checkout "It was a bad experience" all she could offer me were some eggs from the breakfast area. Not 2 Happy, JT.
“Would stay there again.”
Very nice hotel, beautifully appointed, accommodating staff. Buffet breakfast in hotel not worth the price, but this was our only complaint. Kept fresh brewed coffee available in lobby all hours, very clean and well kept in rooms and all areas of hotel.
“Loved this place!”
Loved this place!! So nice.
“Pleasantly surprised!”
I did not expect much but liked everything about this hotel. The breakfast buffet was good, but you have to buy the entire buffet and can't just grab a bago and run; you stil pay the full price. However, I enjoyed the buffet - lots of choices and somehow not mobbed with people hovering over the food. The lobby bar is nice, and there is a little sundry/snack store by the front desk that is open all night. There were delicious, warm cookies at the front desk! The room was very nice and also quiet. My husband was in the area for business, and the hotel personnel called a taxi for me. The cab service is quick and efficient. I thought this would be a problem once I saw the location, but it's easy to get into town. It's a quick ride into Plymouth, and the rate is reasonable. Staff are friendly, and the hotel is well-maintained and pleasant.
“Very satisfied!”
Vacationing with a family and having this as one stop along the way, we were very pleased to find a clean hotel with comfortabe beds. The pool was a hit for our 8 year old and the pool hours were appreciated. At other hotels we were unable to use the pools because they were closed by the time we got back from our site seeing for the day. It was great to have the refrigerator and the microwave in the room as we were trying to save a little by not having to eat out for every meal. The only downside was not having a complimentary continental breakfast. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
“Plymouth Hilton”
The only drawback was the constant loud noise from the airconditioning unit that was housed on the same floor (5) we stayed on!
“Very nice stay!!”
Very nice Stay very helpful and polite people.
“An ok place to stay in Plymouth/South Shore”
The hotel was nice enough for what we paid. We enjoyed the pool and breakfasts in the morning. The room itself was a little disappointing. It appeared no one had cleaned the windows, or furniture in some time. The remote was greasy. The whole room smelled very badly of cleansers of some sort. I think they used cheap industrial cleaners in the bathroom. It was almost unbearable. We faced the Friendly's so we couldn't keep the windows open at night to help with the smell, because people were in the Friendly's parking lot all night and it kept us up. Aside from that the hotel itself was decent for the south shore and it met our needs. If we were going back to the area and needed a basic hotel room I would go back. If I wanted something fancy I would try somewhere else.
“Nice Place - Recommended!”
We stayed in this hotel during our New England tour in September 2010, it was a thoroughly pleasant experience! Location: 5 minute drive from Plymouth - there isn't much there apart from the tourist area, so happy to be near the highway. First Impression: Friendly, efficient receptionist and a pleasant airy atmosphere in the lobby. Fast access to our room. Room: Very clean and functional. We had everything we needed apart from a corkscrew! (We borrowed one from the bar). Bed comfortable, TV acceptable, clean and pleasant bathroom. Food: Not much available from Room Service. There's a sushi bar nearby but we didn't think that was suitable for our 18-month-old son, so we went to Friendly's which is just up the hill near the hotel. Perfect. Breakfast was the best we had during the tour, a buffet including fresh waffles and almost-european-strength coffee. Only negative point: Saw the receptionist blowing bubble gum during a moment where she didn't think anyone was watching. I don't think Mr Hilton would have been proud to see that!
