Upsey that £100 deposit was taken off of me when nothing was mentioned when i booked it. I still havent had it back and no contact either way. The room was very basic but ok fpr the money. Shower was good though.

Exactly what we needed
Me and my girlfriend went to bassfest for the weekend needed somewhere to stay which was out of the way and comfortable. This hotel was exactly that, if your on a budget this is ideal and was exactly what we needed for the weekend

It was the fact i had to pay a 100 deposit per room damage waiver that i still have not had returned depite . This coupled with the fact there were blood stains on curtains maybe says something about it

very low budget hotel, suitable for homeless accommodation and not for business travel. Not much around this location. Lousy breakfast consisting of a few scraps on a tray

We are sorry that this Hotel did not meet your requirements, we are currently unable to serve cooked breakfast as the kitchen is having a refurbishment. Regarding your comment about being suitable for homeless... Our Hotel does not discriminate on our guests on the fact if they are homeless or not. As you can agree it has been a strange couple of years and all guests have the right to stay here regardless of their living situation.

Very run down motel style accommodation. Doorways go out to the cat park area which is normal for American motels, but might not be expected for people in the UK. Had someonentry to get in through my window at 4am but on hearing me speak ran off. Police were in site shortly after so guess they tried other rooms too. The bed was meant to be a double but was two singles of differing heights pushed together under a topper which led to a slope. Lots of people hanging around in the car park on arrival. I moved to a different hotel nearby for very little more money and had a vastly nicer stay.

Twins beds with a sheet over them to act like double bed. Tv too small, Toilet was dirty. .

Our beds are 'ZIP AND LINK' beds to accommodate all bookings. A descaling product was used that day in the toilet, however we do apologise for this inconvenience, but may I ask if you fetched this issue to a member of staff when you checked in to your room? This matter would've been dealt with and an explanation would've been given along with an offer of changed room.

Thumbs up every time
This is the fourth time of staying here. The Restover is excellent value for money. Beds have been upgraded, rooms are clean, warm and more than adequate for stopover or a couple of days exploring surroundings. Staff are friendly and helpful, chef in restaurant is excellent. Food is always good, reasonably priced and enough choice to suit us, drinks also reasonably priced although some people may find the choice a little limited. Great location for Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster too.

Acceptable except for the lack of heating
The heater doesn't even switch on never mind work in room 24 and I had the same problem last year, which I believe was in the same room. I can't believe that either nobody has complained about it since then and/or that anything has been done to rectify it, in all that time. Other than that and the place being rather tired, it's an acceptable stop over.

We are sorry about your issue with the heater, but we have dealt with this matter after your email you sent to us. As you also stated on your email that you didn't report this with any staff members on both occasions. The heater has no been replaced.

Stayed here for the night as we had an event at magna. Cosy rooms with very comfy beds! Staff were lovely behind the desk, will definitely be returning next time we’re in Rotherham!

Neds and bath / toilet very clean but the walls were grubby with torn paperin places. A couple of holes where screws had been taken out and left. There were footprint marks pn the radiator as if someone had lain on the floor stamping trainers or noots against it. O wiped one off and left the rest. The bed headboard was scratched and paint scraped off. The grouting in tge bathroom between wall and was dirty and there was no toilet roll holder. If I could have afforded it I would have left but fhat was not possible.
