“Peter Kay Night”
Four of us came to Sheffield to see Peter Kay, not only did we have a top night at Sheffield arena but our stay at Kenwood Hall was brilliant, we went in the pool and used the steam room and jacuzzi, we had room service for food, and the breakfast the next day was superb, we will definitely be staying there again!!!

Very impressed with the standard of this hotel. If you are not capable of climbing stairs ask for a room in the new part. The old house does not have a lift and is a good walk from the reception and dining room. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good and the dining room had a view of the lake. The bedrooms are virtually soundproof but not all have lake views as advertised on some web sights
“Lovely hotel, good value”
We have stayed here a few times because it is close to relatives we visit. It's 5 minutes from the city centre but in lovely surrounding gardens and is very good value through Expedia

“Green oasis in the city”
Sheffield is and sprawling urban conurbation and so Kenwood Hall provides a welcome relief from it all. Its lovely garden with a lake, possibilities of having your cream tea or a drink from the bar, on the loan if the weather is good , make for a relaxing stay. Set in its own well maintained grounds with ample car parking it gives a sense of special occasion. Our room on the ground floor was spacious, comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. and easy to access. There is also a spa facility with a pool. We had a late supper a in the snack bar which was somewhat stodgy unpredictable affair. . The service was much improved since we last stayed there though the breakfast staff was a little surly

“Great hotel!”
The hotel is in a beautiful setting and actually feels like it is in the countryside; although it is only 5 minute taxi ride from the center of Sheffield! The pool / spa and grounds of the hotel were lovely to spend the afternoon in before hitting Sheffield town on Saturday night!

by taxi from station to hotel 5.50 lovely hotel staff helpfull lovely breakfast and a bargin also used cashback site so even cheaper even small pool steam room sauna what a find
“Very friendly atmosphere, roomy and peaceful”
The staff were very helpful and even smiled regularly - how often do you see that ! The service and the food were excellent, as were the grounds and location to the City. I would make it my first choice on the next visit.
“A real hidden gem..”
...as the title really. Fantastic hotel, lovely big airy rooms and fantastic facilities. The only thing that let the hotel down was the staff. Surly reception staff and hopeless waiting staff are the only things which soured our stay. Inconsiderate gym staff too who left changing room doors wide open while people were inside showering and changing...you have been warned!
