Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, good sized bath - you can lay down it it and I’m 5’9”. So nice to have a bathroom that is for tall people. Great experience we will return

Polite reception staff . Clean hotel. Clean rooms. Had 2 free bottles of mineral water one still one sparkling ready waiting for me. Plenty of tea bags and coffee and hot choc in the room. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. When I got back from the Paul Weller concert at midnight it was boiling . Matthew at the front desk got me a pint of iced cold water to take to my room. What a gentleman. It’s little touches like this that can make a guest choose to stay again.

Nice hotel not far from the train station. Great staff, they really went above and beyond to make our stay special.

Very expensive for tiny rooms. They even charge for parking which is beyond ridiculous given how expensive the rooms are. The lift was broken and we were allocated a room on the fourth floor !

Reception team is very good, easy and friendly check in and out, great chatting with Klaudia on the check out. Dinning was slightly different, my starter (hake) was not good, had a smell of ammonia, didn’t eat as it didn’t seem to be in good condition, we didn’t get a check back on the starters and when I told the young waitress that the hake was not good, nobody checked with us and the issue didn’t get acknowledged or a simple apology was made, when I said that it had a ammonia smell and taste the reply was “ok”. My cousin’s main “aubergine” was hard to take of the skin, taste was good just a little under, no biggie there just some feedback. The rest of the meal was good, the chicken main and the desserts were very nice. Table maintenance was a little of hit and miss, at one stage we had 8 glasses on a table of 2 guests, doesn’t matter to be honest we just settled them on the side ledge for the rest of the meal, i hope you don’t take the comments as harsh, just honest feedback that I believe you should be aware of. For the money that you mark your restaurant up, needs a little better care Again thank you, reception team an absolute credit to your team (everyone we dealt with) and the hotel and facilities were very clean. Staff were lovely. We had the suite with the bath in the room and it was great. We had a problem with the tv, the staff tried to fix it but couldn’t which was unfortunate but there were two tvs in the room anyway. They did apologise and gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne and two cocktails, they also refunded the parking for us. Great stay, will definitely return.

Property is wonderful, clean comfortable rooms. Incredible staff and amazing restaurants. I felt very comfortable there and would recommend. Only drawback is the area - although it is where many hotels are situated. It isn't the best area for walking, other restaurants, cafe's etc.

Nice hotel and the greeting from the reception staff on check in and check out is exceptional. The rest is a little disjointed. The poor man on the bar was running around trying to get things sorted as the bar wasnt stocked up properly for him and this was only 3.30pm in the afternoon just simple things like no teaspoons for the coffee etc. The bedrooms are really cold and extremely noisey from road traffic outside I had very little sleep from the road traffic noise and that's with my window shut, a need for triple glazing is required. There were 4 of us staying in individual rooms and we all said the exact same. It could be a fabulous hotels with some changes made

Due to a booking problem (ours not the hotel). We thought our first room was really nice but on our 3rd night we were moved and our second room was terrible. Cold dirty-cobwebs in several area including several across the mirror which was also very dusty. Mood in the bathroom It was nota pleasant stay

Check in was easy, parking was plentiful, room was lovely and clean and well set out with plenty of light and plug sockets. Sohail the Restaurant Manager was a brilliant host and definitely in the right job. Definitely would book again without hesitation.

We've stayed at this property twice and it's been lovely both times. The staff are attentive and friendly. The food is lovely. Wonderful dinner and breakfast. When we come to town we stay here every time. Definitely recommend

The room service food was stone cold and the shower would suddenly go scalding hot and freezing cold. Hotel did not offer me any form of compensation. I would have at least liked a refund on the meal. Stay away and get a better hotel anywhere else.

Cleanliness and value for money
The staff were pleasant enough but our suite was not worth the money. It was very small and dirty. The walls needed a good clean and I dread to think what was on the bottom of the swivel chair. The water was yellow from the tap.
