Nothing fancy.

A basic hotel on the edge on the city, meant you needed transport to get anywhere. Room was typical of a Ibis hotel. The walk in shower meant afterwards you got wet feet when using the bathroom. A plus was it was very quiet at night, even at the weekend and plenty of free parking.

Early check in

Posted 24-Jun-2015
Despite being a budget hotel I think for customer service that if you have rooms available after guests have travelled a long way it would be curtious to allow them to check in without chrging them. I will stay somewhere a little more flexible in future

Perfect as a base for exploring Swansea and beyond

Posted 05-Jun-2015
Pros: Easy to find. Free parking (not so common these days). Proximity to the beach, marina and city centre. Friendly staff.
Cons: A hairdryer and more coat hangers in the room would have been nice, but not essential. More vegetarian choice on cooked breakfast.
Location: The beach, marina, shopping centre, LC water park & museums all within walking distance. Some beautiful bays and coastal walks within short drive.
We had a 2 night stay in a twin, ground floor room. The room was clean, comfortable and, despite the closeness to Reception, very quiet. It's a budget hotel so there was no hairdryer or wardrobe - but apart from that we had all that we needed for our brief stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking was free. I would say it was about a 10 minute walk to the beach and marina, and about 15 minutes to the shopping centre. It was just off the main road into Swansea, so very easy to find. It was a great base for exploring Swansea and the beautiful coastline of the Mumbles and the Gower. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, although not much vegetarian choice on the cooked breakfast - but admittedly, I didn't ask. Would recommend for a great base at a great price for exploring the area.
