“great full shuttle service”

Don't like the curtain on the 1st floor. But the free breakfast and free shuttle service to airport and to the University are great.

“Long Island Hotel”

The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. I am never sure what I am getting into when I make these reservations on-line. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. The staff were very helpful. The hotel was also only a few minutes from Islip Airport, which was very convenient for me.

“Comfort at its best”

Everything was great, but the cleaning equipment had a very strong scent that just wouldn't leave, it sort of smelled like old rags, but after, the first night, I got used to it.....very friendly staff

“Newer hotel, very pleasant stay.”

This is a newer hotel, we were really surprised how clean it was. We had a child with us and they gave us free upgrade to a suite. The spare bed was not very comfortable but it was in a separate room so we had great time. Will recommend to others.

“Convenient to Stony Brook”

This hotel is a clean and reasonably priced place to stay if you need to be near Stony Brook University.

Area recommendations

Port Jefferson is a quaint place to roam around. Nice shops and good ice-cream.

“Make sure you get a suite on the 6th floor - they are AMAZING!!”

We got a suite on the 6th floor and it was amazing - huge and very comfortable, it was a shame we were only there for one night! Be sure to use the free shuttle van to get around in instead of taxi's if you are heading to Stonybrook University. Nothing nearby within walking distance and it is on a highway, so if you want food and drink be sure to buy it before you check in. There is a little shop in the lobby but not a wide range to choice for you there.

“Great hotel!!!”

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Never have any problems with the room or the continental breakfast which includes hot food as well as cold cereal. Always late check in available. Would stay there again.

“Birthday for my son”

The boys had a great time in the pool, mini golf, vollyball court, basketball court, tennis and a baseball field! We ordered in, most surrounding restaurants deliver to your room, so they didnt have to waste anytime playing. They got all the supplies they needed at the front desk and statrted their rounds at every spot. My son cant wait to go back next year for his birthday sleepover.

Getting there

getting there was very easy, although on a main Hwy and quite difficult to get to surrounding shops and resaurants.
