The staff were exceptional, the room was beautiful and clean, the view was amazing, the wifi was complimentary and the location was a minutee from the train and restaurants. In the words of my partner, we felt like royalty staying here. This is an ideal hotel. I highly recommend!

Great hotel, next to the train station, a very good deal, if your drinking, partying, eating visiting friends transportation is quick to local attractions, and is not a hassle!!!! Under the hotel is a train station. Unheard of price in japan for convienance!!!! Would go back in a heartbeat. Room is practicle, drinks bar inside, and new hotel.
Very close to the JR train station (only a 2 min walk) very easy to find, it's right on the main road. We booked 2 semi double non smoking rooms and got both on the 13th floor - one on the train side, one on the road side. There was little to no noise from the outside in either rooms, and the one on the train side had a fantastic view over the city and the zoo which is right at your door step. The rooms were the smallest we had stayed in while traveling through Japan, but it was only somewhere to sleep so we didn't mind. The bed was like sleeping on the ground (hard as a rock) and the pillows weren't much better... The room was very clean, and had internet access in your room via a LAN cable, there was internet facilities available on the 2nd floor, but we didn't investigate.
There are many restaurants in the area, and an underground food court & shopping district under the train lines at the back of the hotel.
This hotel is really cheap and in a great location. One member of staff speaks basic English. I stayed in an air conditioned room that had seen better days. Unfortunately the wifi didn't reach the room and the showers and bathroom were an elevator ride away. Bring your own towel because the ones they rent to you are too small to dry anything other than a small plate. The main problem though was the bed. A futon on a tatami mat is fine. A futon on a wooden floor is as uncomfortable as just sleeping on the floor itself. But it does seem to be about half the price as anywhere else.
