I was in San Fran for Pride, my original booking for another place fell through, then I found this place and very glad I did. The staff was absolutely nice. There was a bar on the corner, and I was within walking distance of the parade and pretty much close to anything I wanted to go to.
There was some rumbling in the pipes of the shower. But it wasn't a problem. Close to Union Station and the Bart was right outside the door and was a 30 minute ride to the airport.
Overall a good experience.
We were moving from Taiwan to Utah and needed a place to stay over night with our dog and cat. There was a $25 pet fee, which wasn't a big deal, but we only stayed for a total of 12 hours, just so we could get some sleep before the next stretch of the journey. We checked in around 10pm, check in was quick and painless. We got settled in the room. The room was clean and nice, nothing super fancy, but decent. It isn't in the nicest of areas, but it wasn't sketchy or uncomfortable. The parking lot was very small so when we had to get our car loaded up and out the next morning that was a tad tricky. They do have overflow parking with a sister hotel across the street. Overall decent stay, nothing fancy, but the price was right.
Quirky, comfortable and friendly hotel. Our room was bright and reasonably spacious, and although it had no view it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. It was my wife's birthday and the Duty Manager kindly sent a bottle of wine and chocolates to the room - a lovely gesture, and totally unexpected. Thank you!
The room was well equipped and toiletries of a decent standard. The fridge was suitably stocked, if a bit pricey - but probably no more expensive than elsewhere in the city.

Hotel Zetta San Francisco, in San Franciscos fashionable SOMA district, is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway and …More
We were in Cali for a few days and went with this place since it was a pretty inexpensive option in the city. The room was pretty small and the appliances were old, minus the TV. The room we had was nice enough to have satelite so there were a lot of channel options, but after an hour the TV would automatically shut off because of some preset timer that we couldn't figure out how to get rid of. It was super annoying because we'd be watching a show or a movie and the TV would shut off without any warning. The room didn't have air conditioning, which I thought would be a problem, at first but luckily there was always a constant breeze blowing which kept our room cool. The bed however, was so super comfortable. As for the hotel staff, they are very to the point and don't really engage in conversation so sometimes there is a kind of awkwardness that arrives. The lite breakfast they offer is basically juice, coffee and pasteries. It would have been nice if there was fruit or something else so it wasn't the same everyday, but the options they did have were delicious. Overall the room and the hotel met our basic standards while we were staying. The location has some great restaurant options and is close to
A lot of things in the city. If you're not looking for anything super fancy, but comfort, I'd recommend it.
Convenient location, friendly and helpful staff. Lots of traffic noise throughout the day and night. We could also hear the television and kids in the next room. Wifi was mediocre at best, especially considering we had to pay an extra $30 for 2 days of it. Pricey parking. Clean, updated rooms.
