Buffet breakfast makes it worth staying there
It's not in old town Brno but it's accessible by public transit, taxi or Uber. Affordable price, big clean room, no AC but there was a fan. My room was situated in the front but the traffic (hardly any) did not bother me. Staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was amazing and lots of variety - eggs, bread (need another toaster), cold cuts, pastries, fruit, etc. And having the 70s music was great to listen to while eating. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

On frequent No44 bus route which links you (At Mendel Square) to other tram routes to various parts of city centre and to the main rail station and the major coach hub at Grand Hotel. Hotel clean and pleasant. Excellent buffet breakfast. 24 hour reception is big boon - not offered at many hotels. Road outside is fairly busy and it is noisy if you keep window open. Try to get room at back.

The staff were okay but very unhelpful. They told me they didn't know where an ATM machine was despite their own hotel having one next door when I walked around. I also asked about room service that was advertised as open and available but they told me to go to a restaurant and I'm unsure why. The plug sockets are also very inconveniently located in the rooms. However, the room was clean and I had no concerns about hygiene. It will do for a quick one night stay.

Ugly sister hotel but perfectly adequate!
Very clean hotel room although dated and in need of a revamp. Adequate for my needs - clean room, bed and a shower! The restaurant and bar are in the sister hotel next door which looks to be more modern with more facilities. If I were to be picky, I would have appreciated a kettle in the room and a shower that is a shower rather than a handheld version over a bath. I had a room at the front near the entrance and this is a bit noisy at night as people congregate outside to smoke but in general a quiet hotel (although a mechanism to stop room doors slamming would be good!). One of the bedside lamps looked a bit dangerous, particularly for children (see photo) and perhaps these shades should be changed.

More than satisfactory for a nights' stay
Booked late same evening as decided to stop after driving for 800kms. Pleasantly surprised as a rush decision and no "investigation". Comfortable room, well equipped, good WiFi, breakfast, service, etc. Reasonably priced (although 9 euro to park on forecourt a bit cheeky, when street parking 20mtrs away we found out later was free). Sister hotel next door has a great bar. Not much in way of surroundings, but for one night more than satisfactory.

We stay in this hotel for 7 nights. First day they didnt clean our room. We reported it to reception and second day it was done. 3rd day again no cleaning (only fold towels) again reported to reception duty manager come to apologise. Check in took 15 minutes as there is only one member of staff. One night we asked for a taxi to be book for following day at 6.15 am it was 6.25 and no tqxi, we ask reception and they forgot to book it, so urgent call to book one. Area, there is nothing around. Walk 30 minutes into town. Petrol station 5 minutes away to buy essentials. Breakfast basic but ok. General we knew it was a budget hotel but it was terrible dissapointing. Will never go again and definitely dont recommend it

An honest review after staying for 9 nights here
I know its a budget hotel but its not worth it! Reception staff are miserable and everything seems to ve a massive ordeal to them! The rooms are clean and big which is there only plus point, the other guests were very clearly audible in every way and although that isn't directly the hotels fault it is a budget hotel for anyone so you get all sorts in there. The free breakfast is a joke as well, vile food I wouldn't feed my dog... All in all I'd advise pay more to enjoy your stay!

Very good value for money
The hotel is very conveniently located for those travelling by car. It is simple, but clean. It has a parking lot. Wifi is a bit slow, at time disappears. Bathroom is rather small. TV in the room is old and has limited choice of channels. There is a very reasonable variety of hot and cold dishes available for breakfast. We have stayed in this hotel several times and never had to face a crowded breakfast room. The only minus is awful coffee from the coffee machine. But fresh pastry is very good. Very good value for money.

Nice
Very nice and clean hotel, both lobby and the room. Not very far from the city centre. The only con is that one can hear every little thing going on on the floor. For example, you hear when somebody judt tries to enter one's room and I don't want to talk about walking or doing something. All in all, good value for money.

The breakfast was perfect, the room was clean and tidy, they changed the towels daily. The only downside was the lack of ac, but the heat was tolerable. The location is also good, less then 15 minutes to the center

Good for the price
Average experience, room wasn’t that clean but for the price it was ok. The hotel was close to the tram stops but we didn’t feel as if we had any help from the hotel staff

Pleasant stay if a little "functional"
Pleasant business style hotel, effectively an annex of the main hotel next door. Very good buffet breakfast, and a bus stop right outside with Departures every 10 minutes and a half hourly service at night too. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Good value for money.

Helpful and friendly staff
The hotel is situated an easy to reach location. There are two buses operate on the hotel street that could take you to the city and the central station in under 10 minutes. The buses are within 1-2 minutes working distance from the hotel. 'This is a bonus'. Staff are always smiling and wanting to assist. The room is spacious and clean. There is a variety of continental and cooked breakfast. The hotel was quiet and enjoyed my stay.

Excellent value in Brno
I was a reluctant visitor due to a massive snowfall on the local motorway and roads were closed. Excellent reception but by the time I was checked in at 22:00 the kitchen was closed and no chance for food and no snacks. I went into the bar at 22:30 to see if there were snacks in there and ask for a beer. The guy said the toll was closed down and could not charge a drink to the room - disappointing !!!! I went back to the reception to ask if they had an iPhone charger and the girl's helpful attitude was amazing. Good clean spacious double room with the heat on full to defeat the minus eight temperatures outside, must be why the city is called Brrrrno So warm in fact that I had to open the window. Excellent nights sleep on a firm and very comfortable bed. Next morning a delicious selection of hot and cold breakfast items. Different lady on reception in the morning and cheerful, helpful and good command of English. Remarkable value for 37€ including breakfast.

Convenient hotel to the convention center
The hotel was fine. The hotel staff were friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. The room was basic but clean and well maintained. Breakfast was included in my rate and offered a nice variety. I would definitely consider staying here again if I need a hotel near the expo center.

overall a good hotel except for the shower, no way to get consistent water temperature.
