Comfortable Hotel. Close to transport. Only 10 mins on the Tram to the City. Easy to drive to via citylink toll road for those from outside of Melbourne. We went to the Football, tourist sites in the CBD & St Kilda Beach and found The Blackman to be the ideal location to base ourselves.
We enjoyed our stop over. As we were driving and going to the airport, we found it quite difficult getting onto the road because of heavy traffic, There is a back way out that we will use next time so we can use the lights. We would reccomend this hotel to others.
On arrival the staff were very friendly & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them to make our stay as comfortable & as stress free as possible. Breakfast was very enjoyable with a great selection of food to give us ample amount of energy to start the day of sightseeing & shopping around Melbourne. Our stay was very comfortable & it was a pleasant surprise to find our room so quite. I particularly liked the fact that the hotel was not as tall as some in the area. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone & we look forward to future stays at Bayview Eden in Melbourne.
We had great difficulty operating the room heater, in-fact we couldn't figure out how to regulate it via the remote control and 'stay on'. Given it was so cold in Melbourne during our stay, sustained moderate heat in our would have been nice! It was either hot or cold!
There was a bar for 'weary travellers' but it never opened.
A perfectly located serviced apartment - close to St Kilda road , South Melbourne Market, Botanical Gardens, The Shrine... And more
The apartment was fully self contained, full kitchen with dining and lounge areas, large bathroom and laundry facilities.
Very clean , spacious and we'll set out. Parking on site was reasonably priced. Would definitely stay there again.
