Second time we've stayed at this hotel and it was great as usual. Got upgraded to a balcony room and well looked after. The staff were really nice and location is in an easy to access part of the CBD. Would definitely stay here again
Had a 2 night stay here recently and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly and helpful staff and good beds were a highlight.
We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed the buffet breakfast both mornings.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment.

We had booked a studio, but on arrival only room left was outside lift, with a small child the potential noise from the lift and people using it was not something we wanted to deal with so we moved to a one bedroom in the tower block, there was a small upgrade fee. The one bedroom was miles apart from the studio (for the better) seemed newer and cleaner and much much larger. Enjoyed our stay and staff friendly. A little worn but to be expected in an apartment/hotel were lots of family's stay.

We had great difficulty operating the room heater, in-fact we couldn't figure out how to regulate it via the remote control and 'stay on'. Given it was so cold in Melbourne during our stay, sustained moderate heat in our would have been nice! It was either hot or cold!
There was a bar for 'weary travellers' but it never opened.
