Would recommend this hotel. Only issue we had was they didn't come to clean the room until after 4:00 the first day which at that point we declined the cleaning as we were settled for a bit. The next morning they were knocking on the door at 8:45 again we declined as we were not ready to leave.
My teenage daughter and I recently had a great three night stay at this hotel. The location is super convenient, close to Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, Pacific Science Centre, Key Arena and the monorail which takes you straight downtown (a few min ride, $4.50 return). I have read some of the comments criticizing the hotel for outdated furniture. I think those comments are unreasonable considering how cheap the place is. If you want fancy furniture and a renovated hotel, go to a 4+ start hotel and expect to pay way more. The room was clean, microwave and fridge (both very clean) were a nice little touch, as well as free WiFI. The only thing, front staff did not smile and they looked like they really did not want to be there. Another negative was thin blankets on the beds (no extras) and it was raining and cold, being that it was March in Seattle (A/C and heating available though). Also, construction noise all around (not hotel's fault), which did not bother us since we were gone all day. Would definitively stay there again.
Overall we were very comfortable.. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able leave the car parked our entire visit and explore the city on foot because we were so close to many Seattle attractions within a couple of blocks and the monorail which takes you right downtown to great shopping and access to Pike Place Market and Pioneer Square.
Hoping the construction going on around the place will bring updates to the current building. Made it tricky getting into, but had parking on site....$10...worth it! It is rather dated, old, but location is great, ease to downtown, Century Link field, Safeco. Staff was very nice, pleasant. We were in town for one night to watch a football game. We would stay again.
