Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant staff for breakfast buffet (especially Steve and Dominic) were very accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed (including a quick run to the store to purchase peanut butter for our morning toast).
The hotel is close to the underground station and a 10 minute walk to the Royal Albert Hall so was ideal for a concert visit.
Staff were friendly and rooms were clean and tidy (if a little cramped) but were fine for purpose.
We had previously stayed in the more expensive Millennium hotel down the road but now much prefer the Holiday Inn and will stay here for our next visit to a concert or days out in London.
I had to make 2 separate reservations because I extended my trip by a day. Unfortunately I couldn't do a simple extension via Expedia so I was left with one res. for a superior room (one night) and one res. for a deluxe room for 2 nights.
When I arrived the front desk manager saw the problem and upgraded me to a deluxe king room for all three nights. I had asked for a quiet room and it was perfect.
All the staff from maids, bell hops, restaurant managers & concierges, front desk staff were first rate.
Ot was like being wrapped in a soft cuddly blanket of peacefulness.
