"Hotel was excellent and close to shopping malls."
All of the staff was friendly and courteous but Sapphire's customer skills is excellent. She lights up the front desk. Isaac was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond his duties to accommodate me even though he was busy. He is a keeper. Margaret is an excellent breakfast host. She made absolute sure that the dishes were replenish. She was also friendly and approachable. Victor was also extremely helpful. His people relation skills is excellent. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. My friend and I had a wonderful time.
Recently , my daughter and son in law's wedding took place at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Finding the Fairfield Marriot Suites was one of the smartest things I did for all of our guest who were arriving from the Midwest. It was a fantastic experience. Bonnie and her staff were professional and accommodating. They were very patient with our family with each arrival. It really feels great getting so many compliments from the family on the place to stay which I now pass on to the Fairfield.

Although the room was on the small size, it was very comfortable. The breakfast included was a plus. The only area of need would be parking. The hotel only has about 10 spots used on a first come first serve basis. I was never able to find an open space and had to park on the street.

What a luxurious hotel, for about half of the price of similar hotels in Manhattan. We drove a rental car into Brooklyn from the Newark Airport and were delighted (shocked, actually!) that the hotel has free parking in a small lot in front of the hotel. Don't tell them but I think they could be charging $25+ a night for such a convenience. Breakfast is bagels or croissants delivered room-service style but since we don't eat white flour and since we were leaving before 7AM, we couldn't partake. No problem, since happily there are great coffeemakers in each room as well as a well-stocked mini-bar. Fabulous down pillows, terry cloth robes, views of the City or Brooklyn, proximity to subways...all make this our new favorite place to stay in NYC! Clean, spacious by New York standards, quiet -- what more could you ask for! Bravo, Hotel Le Bleu!
Overnight stay on business. Nice hotel, friendly staff great free breakfast with cereal, coffee, milk, many juices. Waffles , scrambled and boiled eggs and sausage, toast and fruit. Did I say great free breakfast. 5 minutes from Manhattan. Not inexpensive but the best price on the area.

"Excellent hotel, close to major subway and stores"
Great hotel, they have small rooms but it's all the room you need. I'm 6.3 so you'd think I would need a large room, I shared the room with my girlfriend and it was perfect. Nice big windows that can open, bathroom was half the size of the room which makes it a pretty big bathroom, very clean as well. It had all the appliances and such you need. The only negative remark I have to make about the hotel isn't even from the staff or rooms or anything. It's the people that stayed there, one guy was a little weird and tried to get into out room in the middle of the night. Said he rented the room for 2 nights but only got charged for one...it was a little strange. Staff apologized a bunch of times but it wasn't there fault. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends, I almost went with Chelsea Hotel or some stupid motel...i'm so glad I made the choice to stay with Union Hotel. What a relief it was seeing the hotel and rooms, sometimes you just don't know what you're going to get. Especially cause the price is so darn cheap for a hotel in the heart of Brooklyn. All I can say is if you're calculating which hotel would be best price wise etc Union Hotel is the one. Hotel was clean, clean, clean.
