This is a very nice hotel and one that we will stay in again. It was a little on the pretentious side though. The view is absolutely amazing and second to none for London that I know of. Plus it was fun to swim on the 53rd floor and look out over London.

"Convenient for South Bank and the Borough Market"
My wife and out two friends wanted to stay centrally to visit the South Bank, Borough Market and the general area.
This hotel fitted the bill and the budget.
Very smart and very clean general areas with a friendly & efficient check in.
Everything was perfect and I couldn't fault the place.
We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the restaurant.
The rooms were well appointed with an olympic sized TV and all you would expect from a quality hotel.
We stayed at this hotel to end our 25th Wedding Anniversary celebrations having returned from America/Carribean. The staff were great and the location is ideal if you want somewhere close to the 'tourist' points, but still quiet. Sadly the hotel was let down by the room cleaning staff who did not seem to be able to clean the carpet and I had to visit the reception having found an item in the 'clean' bedding before our 4th night. Hopefully this was just a bad cleaner as everything else at the hotel was good.
Helpful efficient and friendly staff. I was upgraded to a room with a view of the Shard. Rooms are small but clean. Very nice breakfast. Walking distance to underground station and buses. If there on a weekend you must go to the Borough Market.
Already booked to come back.
