"Excellent hotel ideally situated with friendly sta"
Stayed for 6 nights as part of our honeymoon, we were lucky enough to stop in the 007 suite which was simply beautiful with lovely views and comfort. Hotel was clean and all staff very helpful and friendly. Good choice at breakfast although coffee wasn't the best. It's less than 10 minutes walk to the main hustle and bustle of sorrento and vast number of restaurants. Only down side I noticed was pool had not much sun after 230-3. Will definitely stay again

Very central, clean spacious rooms. We had a family room which consisted of 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Walking distance to the centre and the marina. Staff arranged a transfer at a very reasonable price from and o the airport. The staff is extremely helpful, in fact it was the best customer service we had including 5 star hotels. The only drawback that the hotel des not have any outside space but it's great as a base to explore the area. Highly recommended .
Basic accomodation but to be honest you get what you pay for these days, so the surprises are few and far between. Having said that, we couldn't complain about room size or cleanliness and the view from the room was spectacular. A few gripes though - the villa is very difficult to find (it's actually based within the grounds of the Johanna Hotel yet doesn't state this in it's address) - the pool is literally tiny, more of a plunge pool and on occasion there are too few sunbeds. Breakfast is standard fare but we manged to find something to get by on each day although the coffee supplied at breakfast leaves a lot to be desired!! It certainly does no favours to the Italians and their reputation in the coffee world. Very useful to have a car as villa is situated halfway up a mountain. Great restaurants very close by though - we never had a bad meal at any local restaurant (and we tried plenty)

Arrived to a beautiful hotel, however our room was terrible! Worst we have had! Saw the hotel receptionist to complain, Tony he was wonderful said all the rooms were occupied & had to stay for two nights in that room then could change to another room it was such an improvement with a great seaview, So much spacious & comfortable.
We stayed at the Bellevue Syrene for our honeymoon in Sorrento during October and November 2014. From the minute we walked in the front door we were blown away by the place- pleasing colors, tasteful art and decor, unsurpassed views, open & spacious rooms, and generous amenities. But most of all the staff was amazing. Everyone we met, from Francesco at the front desk to the guys serving breakfast ti the bellman... Sincere, polite, helpful, and gracious. I dream of going back someday!
The hotel has probably one of the best views on the Sorrento coast. Just be careful with leaving snacks in the room. We were infested with ants by day 2!! Also, the spa isn't really a spa so count that out. The food is amazing and the service was outstanding. Overall an amazing experience.
We stayed in Settimo Cielo for 5 nights. Although we did not have a balcony room the picture windows gave panoramic views over the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius which were lovely. Could also watch the comings and goings in the marina Grande.
The breakfast, typically italian, was both plentiful and lots of variety.
The staff were very helpful with superb english.
Pool at bit cool but cannot blame hotel for that.
I agree with the comments about the towels and would have preferred fluffy towel rather than the linen, but again this is how things are in this part of Italy.
The location is not so good for those with walking or breathing difficulties being about 1/2 mile up a continual slope with very narrow (in parts) pavement. Lorries, buses and scooters are constant until late in the evening and the fumes on the road dreadful. Use taxis
Overall a great time, good food and ambiance - only downside the traffic.
