“Great location!”
My husband and I stayed at the Quality Sorrento for 2 nights and our friends came for an overnight stay.We loved the place and its surroundings. Our room was very comfortable and clean and we had an awesome view of the ocean. Hillarys Marina is just a short walk away and it is a great place for eating, drinking shopping, swimming and great if you have kids of all ages. There is something for everyone. I dont know why the overall rating of Sorrento is a 2 for us it was perfect. We are in our 50s and look for comfort and location and we had both and would give it a rating of 4.We would recommend Quality Sorrento and we would stay there again!
“suitable for basic needs”
We stayed here for 5 nights with three young children, sadly we were placed upstairs and the bedroom windows do not have locks to open them partially, there is no air con in rooms or fans so they get quite hot and stuffy. Our apartment was serviced but this was very basic, the floors were no vaccumed at all during the stay despite the need for it. With our booking even though it clearly stated 5 guest 2 adults and 3 children there were only 2 beds made up for the children and they wanted to charge extra per night to use the sagging fold out couch. FOr basic accomdation across for the beach this was suitable, most things in the room were in working order, although somethings like sliding doors due to salt rust were in bad condition and were difficult to open and close.
“Needs a refurb”
Can't fault the location or the outside appearance and any dealings with reception staff who were friendly and helpful but the compliments end there. The interior of our 2 bedroom appartment was very dated and I would suspect has not seen any improvements or modernisation for 30 years. The appliances were dated and the toaster in our room needed condemming I was there for 3 nights with my 14 year old son - we took one look at the pool and surrounding are and gave it a wide berth. Certainly can recomend the area as it is stunning and close to the many amenities at Hillarys' marina, but as for the rooms & pool - 1 out of 5
“Not impressed”
When we arrived we has asked for a sea view room and as we went in there was a huge tree in front of the balcony so much of the sea view was covered up. The windows were filthy, and the bathroom well, there ideal of cleaning was to wipe the sink and turn up the toilet roll, the mirror was not even cleaned. I would not go back!
“5 Star Location!”
Nice large room and great location, I would strongly suggest paying the extra for an ocean view room as it's well worth it. Only negative would perhaps be the traffic noise could be heard from inside the room, however wasn't busy at night.
“Best family resort !!”
From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome from staff and fellow guests. The three bedroom apartment was HUGE, very clean and to our amazement almost fully childproof for our two kids under 3 years. Another bonus was the almost soundproof walls which enabled utmost privacy and ensured other guests were not inconvenienced by our children who rose before dawn. The rooms also had block out blinds which kept the rooms dark and the heat out. The hotel is a stones throw from the beach and Hillary's Boat Harbour which has endless facilities for young kids including a shallow swimming area, shaded play equipment and fully decked out fun centre! The hotel also had a great pool and spa which the kids loved! Overall the hotel was great for young families and we will be returning at Xmas for another week. Enjoy!!
“Beautiful ocean view from unit”
Everything was as expected. The ocean view from our room was perfect. Everything was done when it was suppose to be. Staff very friendly.

Not at all impressed the only thing in it's favour was the location right across from a beautiful beach. Interesting that it is called a Hotel but the rooms are not serviced
