My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Residence L'Incanto Sorrento.The location was quiet and the views from the upper terraces were beautiful. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in during our travels, and the pillows were great too. The heat worked well and was appreciated because we had some cold nights. Off-street parking was available for free - the small lot is located across the street and a short uphill walk from the accommodations. It was about 20 minutes to drive into the main area of Sorrento, and Antonino recommended a good place to park in town. Antonino was very personable and allowed us to check in early, however instructions for finding the accommodations and parking before we arrived would have been helpful. We also appreciated that complementary laundry was offered, although there was some confusion about that process. The staff washed our clothes, and we assumed they would also be line dried. However, the clothes were delivered back to us wet, and we needed to hang them on a rack in our room to dry. They were not drying well in our room, so we took the clothes and the drying rack up to the terrace, which worked well since we had a nice day.

This property is very noisy. The air conditioner stopped working after being there for a few hours and it was very hot and uncomfortable. The cars beep to alert coming around the corner all night long. Very hard to sleep. I would not recommend.

Awesome spot! The owner Antonino was very friendly and extremely helpful in suggesting restaurants and amenities in the area. He even arranged for us to be picked up from the train station and we absolutely loved the driver Giovanni- he’s a great guy! L’Incanto is in a charming little part of town but it is a little far from shops and such, which was nice but I would recommend renting a scooter or car to get around- Antonino has a parking spot close by you can use. We would recommend L’Incanto and would stay here again.

Beautiful view from the roof top terrace. And the rooms were clean. But it was too remote without your own transportation. If you like a strenuous uphill hike ( both ways) there was a minimal convenience store and a restaurant 450 metres away. At least that’s what they said… it seemed further due to the climb. And the restaurant next door opened at 730 pm and that’s it for food. Bring your own groceries if you’re staying here.

Antonio and staff were extremely friendly. My partner and I got lost and Antonio was very kind to wait for us despite being delayed about 1-2 hours. We definitely recommend a taxi or having your own car. Location wasn’t too far from surrounding areas- 20-30 minutes from Positano with the bus located about a 6 minute walk away. The room was spacious and clean. Although it did get a little cold but there was a heater. Cute local area with amazing views of the sea and an even more amazing restaurant next door. We hope to come back soon!

Be aware of location
If this is your first time in sorrento, I do not recommend. Very far from downtown area. Bus stop is a 30 minute walk and taxis typically do not go up this far. Antonio was very accommodating to allow us to find another place with a refund. Place was very clean and nice if you like to be isolated from the crowds.

Good evening Carrie I read your review and I have to tell you that I don’t understand your way of doing things.The structure is well described on all sites and well located to allow during booking the correct choice of destination and location to the customer.The bus stop is 500 meters from the residence, stop Colli di San Pietro. These thirty minutes of travel as they were calculated ?Despite having a non-refundable booking I invited you to look for a better solution, just because I feel like my mindset that the customer must always feel satisfied and you have received full refund.Why add a negative review not having used any service?The choice of a hotel outside the city center, convenient for excursions on the Amalfi coast and Sorrento was his choice.I wish you a happy holiday and if you believe it correct what is written.greetingsAntonino

I didn’t read the information about the hotel and that is my own fault. You have to let Antonino know when you’re coming in, otherwise you have to wait for him to arrive. I also didn’t realize Piano di Sorrento and Sorrento were two different towns so we had a two mile walk up some steep hills or a 25 euro cab ride if we wanted to go from our hotel to the train station. Antonino was very nice and helpful though, and the accommodations were adequate.

The view is amazing. It had everything we needed. Parking was an additional cost and was a few doors up but it was gated and off-street which we appreciated. Ensure you contact the place with your arrival time beforehand.

Little gem
This is a great little hotel with an amazing view. We booked the two bedroom with a private terrace and loved it. Antonio was very helpful and accommodating. For the price, it is hard to beat. It is a little hard to find, but we were able to find it on our second attempt (the roads are narrow and a little tricky to navigate). It is not in the middle of town, so having your own transportation is a good idea.

family vacation to Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi
Location was excellent..close to Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi!! we loved the terrace where we ate dinner and enjoyed the sunset every night of our stay. I would recommend this place to families and couples. wifi was not the strongest but I felt like it forced us not to be on phone for long periods of time :)

Antonino is great! Always in touch with us, place is really comfortable , quiet and has a beautiful view. Will definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends. Sorrento is definitely my favorite place!

Quiet Retreat in hectic Alamalfi
Stayed 2 nights. Room comes with a handy kitchenette. Very clean and a good base to visit Sorrento and the other villages/towns on the Amalfi coast. Nice mountain views.

Antonio and his sister were very hospitable and kind. Rooftop view was amazing and we spent a good amount of time there. No problems checking in. Shower great. Thank you! A little distance from town but worth it as we housed a family of five adults under one roof. Worked out very well for far less than staying in town

The view from the terrace area was amazing
We had an amazing stay. Everyone was very helpful! We made our own appetizers and had them with wine from the rooftop terrace at sunset which is a memory that will be hard to beat.

Pretty but not practical without a car
It's firstly not a hotel It's 100% self catering apartment. situated in a village setting. If you have no car be ready to walk miles to anywhere. The place was very pretty however they were never serviced in the 4 days we were there. Towels weren't changed dustbins were not emptied out. floorspace were not cleaned etc. As people who are on holiday these things should be taken care of by the owner.

My Incanto
This is really an "incanto" a gem in the Sorrento coast. 15 minutes away from sorrento and 10 minutes from positano. The view is spectacular. The service is excellent. In a word...a dream. I'll back for sure.

A winter break with almost no tourists in the region. Comfortable apartment & beautiful scenery. Fabulous deli + eatery in S Agnello - Corso Italia.

hillside retreat lived up to expectations
This is an apartment within 15 mins drive of Sorrento set high in the hills overlooking the Amalfi coast, a wonderful setting. Probably 5 mins drive from civilisation, but we enjoyed the serenity of it, and didnt actually eat out during our stay, Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with parking on the road (it is on a hill). It is not really within walking distance of much, so make sure you have a car.

Apartment about 11km from sea and Sorrento. Remote difficult to get to and then a walk. Five minutes drive away from the one restaurants (which we never saw open. Only one shop ~ a clothes shop ,bars etc. Our small terrace areas and balcony overlooked by the locals except if you could climb lots of stairs. Too many stairs and awkward to get suitcases up them. Dogs kept us wake howling at night. shower door stuck. Very isolated.Needed to have own transport. Last bus back at night was at 7.30 . taxi back ~ 24 euros. Buses crowded and noisy ~ needed to change twice for Sorrento. Piano Sorrento dingy .

Tolles Appartement mit super Therasse
Wunderschöner Ort mit traumhafter Aussicht! Kinderbett war bereit und auch sonst alles vorhanden was man braucht. Das Elternbett krachte bei jeder Bewegung gegen die Wand. Mit einem Frottetuch dahinter war das Problem gelöst ;-)

I love to stay Residence el Incanto
Residence el Incanto has a wonderful view over the see. I could reach to Sorrento & Positano easily. Facilities were very clean and convenient. The owner is very friendly and provides useful information for traveling around the area. I would definitely like to stay here again.
