The staff was excellent and the service was exceptional. Room service was outstanding as was the breakfast. It was easy to walk to town for exploring shops and restaurants and the view from our room was lovely. We did valet parking which was very convenient.

Beautiful hotel with breathtaking views! Staff is amazing and helpful. The hotel restaurant is the best in the entire town as well. Close to EVERYTHING in Vico Equense (walking distance) including the train station. Book this hotel and relax…you made the right choice.

Hotel is great. Breakfast buffet has a big variety of food. The restaurant is good but also there are plenty of dining options that are walkable in town. The train station is a short 10min walk which will take you to Sorrento or Naples. On travel days we chose to have the hotel book us a driver to Naples train station. The hotel also have day trips and guide available. I agree with another review..h Jung a water kettle in the room was the only thing missing. It would be nice to have the option to make tea or coffee between eating hours. maybe the hotel will consider it in the future.

Fantastic stay at the hotel. Went for our honeymoon for a short break. Location is perfect for sorrento and pompei visits. Food was delicious. Breakfast options have lots of choice and extensive drinks menu. Staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful. Everyone we encounted was amazing in particular mario who works on the bar. There was also another man, didnt catch his name, wears glasses and does evenings and mornings who was super friendly

Every member of staff was extremely helpful and went the extra mile for us, the hotel itself was clean and and very accessible. It Few minutes away from the bus/train station and from the centre of the town. Would recommend to anyone planning a holiday in Naples/sorrento/vico equense

We returned to the Hotel Mary after staying there just before the pandemic because we thoroughly enjoyed our previous stay. We were pleased to find that the hotel had been updated very nicely. The room was very comfortable, the views from our sea view room and the breakfast area were breathtaking. The hotel’s location in Vico Equense is preferable to us over a hotel in the busier Sorrento because it is quiet and easy to navigate the town, and within an easy (and very scenic) walk to the train station to affordably get to Sorrento, Pompei, and Naples. The town has everything you would need during a stay. The hotel offers free valet parking, which is an amazing perk because street parking is difficult. The breakfast buffet puts others to shame with just about everything you might want. My only request would be for some more vegan specific options like plant based milk, but there are enough options to please just about everyone- fruits, breads, meats, beautiful pastries, cheeses, cereal, spreads, juices, coffee, yogurt, cappuccinos, eggs, etc. The staff is multi-lingual and very helpful with anything you need. The bed was comfortable and the facilities very clean and modern. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to visit the Sorrento peninsula.

Hotel is located away from the center of town, and is quite a walk from the train station to the shops to get water. There was also noisy drilling of the pavement at the front door when we arrived. No apologies whatsoever for the inconvenience or noise from the hotel.

The rooms are not soundproofed. We could hear everything happening in the rooms surrounding which made it incredibly difficult to sleep. The aircon didn’t work either. The rooms are ok, a bit out dated. The view is lovely and so is the pool area.

Great place, beautiful views!! Staff was amazing, valet parking!! Breakfast was so good, great choices!! Only complaint was that the bed was too hard for my liking and there was a dog outside that wouldn’t stop barking, not the hotels fault. 😊 Totally recommend!

The view was amazing! The staff were helpful and always available! The view was awe inspiring. The breakfasts were incredible! The rooms were beautiful and the shower was incredible. Vico Equense was so lovely. Cute shops, wonderful walks, wonderful views, such nice people and such fun activities to do. We did a Fresco Painting class with a local artist - Aerma Polani, a local cooking class with Teresa through Cesarine and the hotel set up a winery tour - Catina Del Vesuvio. You can take the train to tons of local places or Hotel Mary can set up private cars. We did both. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. Beautiful, clean, speaks English, kind, amazing experience! I am not exaggerating with the view. I took 500 photos.

I never leave reviews but we’ve just returned from the best 10 night stay at Hotel Mary. The hotel is lovely, the staff are amazing and the area, Vico Equense, is a gem for anyone looking for a place to stay in Italy that’s authentically Italian and not touristy. The train station is a short walk from the hotel with a direct train to Sorrento (12 mins), Naples (just under and hour) and Pompeii (30mins). You can also get a ferry to Capri directly from the port which is near the hotel. There are some lovely restaurants nearby (Titos, Il Barrio and Pizzeria Di Franco we recommend). You won’t get tired of the beautiful views of the coast and sea from the hotel and the pool area is lovely. Whilst the continental breakfast was the same everyday there were plenty of options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel! Thank you to all the staff.

The hotel was nice and clean, swimming pool area and the marina area. Staff were generally helpful and food was good. The main issue with the hotel was that it caters for tour groups so for 2 days we had to contend with large groups coming in and out of the hotel. One group in particular was very noisy and made it difficult to enjoy our dinner on the terrace.
