“Excellent location in charming town of Sorrento”
Excellent location, heart of Sorrento. Close to shopping, and restaurants. This is a great jumping spot to get to Capri and Amalfi, and Pompeii/Mount Vesuvius. The only drawback is you have to pay for internet and this can only be used in the lobby. Air conditioning did not work at first, but after a call to the desk, it was repaired and worked wonderfully. The free breakfast was good by Italian standards. The pool was pretty much useless because of the hours it is available. It closes at 6 pm. It would have been nice to sit by the pool after dinner or returning from tours to Capri and Pompeii.

I was satisfied with the hotel, but I wouldn't stay here again. There are better hotels in Sorrento for a little more money...
“Great location”
The central location of Hotel Eden was brillant although it was a little hard to find in the dark on arrival - the directions on the website make it sound a little easier to find than it is. Value wise, we didn't expect a 5 star hotel and it's not but you couldn't ask for a better location in relation to the town centre, close to transport, restaurants etc
“Dated but central”
Overall we would use this hotel again. It is very central and the staff were great. We'd asked for a room with a view of the bay which we didn't get but were moved after two nights ( we were staying for eight) to one which did. Breakfast was fine - typical continental with as much as you could eat. Hotel itself is dated and has obviously not had much spent on it in a long time but in a way it added to the charm of the place.
“Great Location”
Mushrooms on the bathroom ceiling were not mentioned on any review I'd read for this hotel. The offending ceiling tile was replaced the following day. Breakfast adequate for a few days stay but not a week. Some (not all) front of house staff need to be less curt!
“Great place for a night”
Just stayed one night could have stayed alot more seemed like a nice place for the money. Pool closes early. Great location! Sorrento was the best. Staff was very helpfull. Breakfast was good. Overall a great time.
“Cheap(ish) and cheerful”
Having read the reviews on Expedia and Trip Advisor, my boyfriend and I were a bit nervous staying at Hotel Eden but were more than pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The pool is lovely, although shuts at 6pm. The bar is reasonably priced compared to the rest of Sorrento. Breakfast was basic and too early, but our room was clean and airy if not on the small side, but they gave us a family room so we had a spare room for our clothes etc. They cleaned the room every day and were all very friendly. Dont expect the Ritz, but for basic, cheapish, clean and VERY central accommodation, I dont think you can go wrong here!
“Très bien situé”
Cet hôtel n'est pas l'hôtel le plus moderne et le mieux décoré qu'il soit, mais il est extrêmement bien situé dans Sorrento, non loin de la gare, des embarcadères et tout près du centre ville ainsi que du musée Correale de Terranova (à voir). Les chambres sont simples, les salles de bain pas très agréables, mais nous avons apprécié le petit-déjeuner buffet et aussi la piscine qui est partagée avec un hôtel voisin et bordée d'un agréable jardin. Le restaurant qui se trouve au pied de l'hôtel est aussi une très bonne adresse.
