“Surprise Romatic Break”

Surprised my wife with this hotel for our 25th wedding anniversary. A great hotel with fantastic views of Capri and Bay of Naples. A room with a sea view is a must. Food very good although restaurant was on the quiet side. Coutesy bus into Sorrento was clean, punctual and reliable and only taook 25 mins and with the last bus being 2330 an evening out is easy. You can book a small boat to take from the hotel to Capri for a day trip. Staff were helpful and polite. After checking out , a courtesy room was provided to shower and change before a late flight home. All-in-all a fantastic peaceful, relaxing and romantic stay. I would would fully recommend this hotel for a late / early season break.

“Beautiful hotel and amazing place!!”

We enjoyed a fantastic 8 nights in the hotel in June 2009. The room was really nice and cleaned every day. The view from the balcony was breath taking and you could not tire of looking at it. The whole place was vert romantic!! The staff were always friendly and helpful, particularly round the pool bar and restaurant. Our only criticism would be the main restaurant - a lack of flexibility i.e. you had to order a 3 course meal even though you may not have wanted it all. Quality of the food was very good and breakfast had a good selection. The hotel offer a courtesy bus into sorrento a number of times a day which is very handy and saves you a fortune..however, the bus is only small and fills up quickly so it is better not to make concrete plans to go to Sorrento to avoid dissapointment. The only other disappointment to us was a number of other guests who hung around the pool and insisted on constantly moaning about the prices in Sorrento and the hotel...desoite claiming they had been there a number of years!! They should stay at home next time!

what a fantastic hotel,i really don't have any negatives at all about this hotel,we went for a relaxing week in the sun and the hotel exceeded all our expectations,our hotel room was lovely and the view was just stunning looking over to Capri,hotel staff were very friendly and helpful,food was lovely in the hotel,we ate there most days,the boat ride from the hotel to capri was good fun,we actually had a car but the hotel ran a shuttle bus to Sorrento which we would used if we didn't have a car, we will definitely be going back to this hotel.

“Fantastic Hotel - One of the best Hotels I have stayed in.”

Form arrival the service was welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and had excellent facilities. The view of Capri from the balcony of the room was spectacular. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of continental or cooked breakfast. Fantastic pool and bar area (Drinks were very reasonably priced.) Highly recommend. One of the best Hotels I have stayed in.

“Sorrento's Best”

Having heard from family how wonderful Hotel Delfino was, the expectation was already high. Set in beautiful, tranquil surroundings, with stunning views, professional, but friendly staff, you can be nothing but impressed. Located 15 minutes outside Sorrento, the hotel shuttle bus provided a suitable link to restaurants, Capri, Pompei, etc. A truly memorable stay.

“Fabulous Hotel in an Incredible Location”

Hotel Delfino is a fabulous place to stay and the location is truly spectacular. I'd not hesitate to go back. A special place.

“a beautiful friendly hotel in a beautiful area: Loved it”

This hotel was the nicest I have stayed in for a long time, friendly but not intrusive, very relaxed with a breath taking view of Capri from our balcony as well as the swimming pool area and the dining room. I am glad we had a car to enjoy exploring the area and finding interesting small restaurants around the Amalfi coast and found the best on the last night on the way to Termini. everyone seemed pleased when I practiced my Italian and didnt make me feel bad, but most people spoke excellent English and wanted to show this off! driving was hair raising, but let us get off the beaten track.my tip would be to get the smallest car you can.Another tip is go to Capri in the little boat from the hotel, a special adventure in itself. I loved it all, and want to go back.

“fantastic hotel”

This hotel is superb. The rooms facing Capri are sensational. Staff very polite and curteous. Quiet time when we went, about 3 days before Easter, so the staff couldn't do enough for us. A couple of days we had the pool to ourselves. The curtesy bus into sorrento was fabulous. Ran about 5 times a day. Would definitly recommend this hotel. *****

“A hotel with stunning views”

This is a lovely hotel with outstanding views of Capri and the Bay Of Naples. It was very difficult to find on the sat-nav so print out your travel instructions ahead of your journey. However the hotel has signposted their location well from the direction of Sorrento. Pay extra for the room with a sea view and you will not be disappointed. The hotel has architecture that seems to date from the '60's but has been internaly modernized to high standards. The rooms are small but do differ in size. Our friends had a bigger room than ours but was in the same price range - so ask to change if you feel the room is too small (theirs had a pull our bed settee which explained the bigger room). The shower was very small. We found the breakfast was excellent but were disappointed with the dinner which was very average for a set menu with just 3 starter and 3 mains choices. In fairness we stayed when the hotel was hosting a wedding and we suspect that most of the culinary focus was centered there. The food in the bar area by contrast was excellent. Everywhere you go you are treated to exceptional views. The staff all spoke great English and were very friendly and accomodating. The pool area is delightful. The path to the beach is not for the faint hearted. Overall we were very impressed and thought the hotel offered exceptional value for money.

“Beautiful views and great staff”

Although slightly off the beaten track the Hotel Delfino is set in a lovely location with stunning views over the coast and the island of Capri. The free shuttle bus into Sorrento was essential for getting out and about without hiring a car or spending a fortune on taxis. Great idea but we found we were dependent on them slightly and governed by when they ran to and from town. There were public buses but not very frequent. Saying that, if you want a relaxing by the pool holiday and aren't too fussed about going out everyday then this is definitely the place! The pool was great, again with amazing views, and the staff were very friendly and more than happy to help. Food was excellent, great buffet breakfast, reasonably priced evening meals (20 euros for 2 courses) and the sandwiches at the pool bar were excellent! Overall we had a lovely time and would defintely go back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in a hotel with amazing views and brillaint service.
