“Just right for what we wanted to use as a base and visit local historical sites. Would come again.”

Good public areas e.g. bar, dining area, pool,although our bungalow fairly small it was good value and given that we didnt spend much time in it this wasnt a problem. Helpful staff. Local town of Sant'Angello nice with good local restaurants and not as touristy as Sorrento. Good train links via Circumvesuviana.

“Great Value for Money”

Great place to stay. We found the accommodation comfortable and the breakfast was beautiful. There is easy access to Sorrento and all the places of interest in the area. The local bus stops outside the hotel. All the staff are very friendly whether they speak English or not and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. There is also free Wifi.

“A great, low budget, family run hotel”

Apart from the stress of finding the hotel (perched on the middle of the hillside with no direct road access!!), this was a lovely place to stay. The family run atmosphere was very nice and everyone was very helpful. The 300 steps down from where our car was parked was fine and the staff helped us with our luggage which was excellent. There was then another 400-500 steps down into town where we'd have dinner and drinks and could access the boat trips etc. A bus service ran from town up to the road above the hotel which we took to get home and then walked down the steps again (we preferred this to walking up all those steps!!). A very pleasant, low budget (for Amalfi) place to stay.

“Great staff”

Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Best breakfast we had in Italy. Great pool area, really came in handy with the heat of the summer. Location convenient to bus and train, easy access to town of Sorrento. Supermarket down the street. Restaurants walkable from the hotel. Rooms are small, probably not really a three star, but the outside patio area is pleasant at night. Is is also quiet, none of the traffic noise.

“Great way to visit Sorrento without spending a fortune!”

Esperidi was a great place to stay. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and the pool was great. Saint Agnello was a couple of miles out of Sorrento but its only a short hop on the bus or the metro or actually quite a nice walk (it takes about 30-40 mins) which makes you feel better about all the pizza and ice cream! We had a room with a kitchen in it which was definitely a good decision because eating out was quite expensive. There was a supermarket a few minutes up the road and the fresh fruit and veg is delicious. The only down side to the self catering was the lack of washing up items so take a cloth and washing up liquid with you. We really enjoyed our stay at Esperidi. It was great value for money and I would definitely recommend it to others.

“Esperidi Resort”

We paid for the cheapest room and this was evident as the room was very basic and rather small. However the rest of the resort appeared to be nice and well maintained. Staff were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Resort was a 10 minute walk to the sea and train station and a 45 minute walk into Sorrento.

“A bit disappointed”

When we arrived the grounds near the check in area looked really nice but beyond that the grass had not been cut in ages. We stayed in one of the bungalows. It's more like a shed. It was VERY small. We could hardly move around. We were led to believe there were kitchens in every bungalow. Not so. Not even a refrigerator. The hot water was turned off everyday during siesta time which was from 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. So you come in from the pool and cannot even shower to go out. The pool was gorgeous. Big, lots of chairs but it was not heated. The pool bar was closed the entikre time we were there. Breakfast was included each morning. It was very basic. Buns, jams etc. but it served the purpose. The hotel is also quite a distance from Sorrento. You can walk to Sorrento in about 20 minutes however the sidewalks are very narrow in some areas and the traffic is horrendous. You can take the public bus for a small fee but you have to buy your ticket at one of the tobacco shops which is closed during siesta. I would not recommend the Esperidi Resort. I would suggest staying somewhere much closer to Sorrento. It is much more exciting, lots more to see, much better shopping and dining.

“Un excellent séjour”

Nous avons passé 3 jours au sein de l'Esperidi Resort, et nous en gardons un excellent souvenir! Le cadre est agréable : propre, calme, des orangers et citronniers partout, une magnifique piscine (fermeture à 19h l'été et non 18h comme j'avais pu le lire dans un commentaire). Le personnel a été accueillant et nous a bien renseigné. La petite maisonnette (bungalow) qui composait la chambre et la salle de bain + WC était propre, confortable, bien décorée et équipée d'une clim (indispensable). Seule la douche fut difficile à régler pour obtenir une température constante agréable! Il faut aussi savoir qu'en Italie, un lit King size (ou un lit double tout simplement) correspond en fait à deux lits simples collés. L’hôtel se situe à 5/10 min à pied d'un magnifique point de vue sur la baie de Naples, où l'on trouve aussi des restaurants, et une "plage" en contrebas. En effet, San't Agnello tout comme Sorrento sont perchés sur des falaises. Le seul point négatif de l'hôtel est que le petit déjeuner n'est pas compris dans le prix. Cependant, une petit super marché situé à 10/15 min à pied nous a permis d'acheter le nécessaire pour grignoter le matin.

“Das Resort ist sehr sauber”

Waren in einer junior suite untergebracht. Die Ausstattung entsprach dem im Internet gezeigten Bilder und -Angaben. Täglich kam der Room-Service und hat die Betten gemacht und das Bad gereinigt, usw. In der Anlage sind entlang der Wege und am Pool viele Zitronen- und Orangenbäume gepflanzt. Der Parkplatz für das Auto ist über ein elektrisches Tor zu erreichen und von der Strasse kaum einsehbar, so ist man vor Diebstählen geschützt. Der Pool ist sehr groß und sehr sauber, außerdem gibt es eine kleine Bar für Cafe- oder Eispausen. Im Hintergund läuft Popmusik, aber sehr angenehm nicht zu aufdringlich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Insgesamt kann man dieses Resort wirklich weiter empfehlen.
