Nice hotel, great location

Posted 20-Jul-2014
Pros: The staff and location.
Cons: Attention to detail with the small things.
Location: Location was great! The beach was close by and all the shops and restaurants were also nice and close.
I stayed here with my mum and we really enjoyed it. The hotel was in a great location in the centre but just away from the noise and main hub. It was close to the beach which was very useful. The room was slightly small and there was a sometimes a sewage smell in the bathroom but everything else made up for this. The staff were absolutely fantastic and the hotel was nice.

Great hotel...

Posted 19-Jul-2014
Pros: The staff were great with any requests and the location was perfect to the town centre and beach (it has a private lift down to the beach!)
Cons: Nothing - great stay.
Location: Town centre has good shopping and is nearby Pompeii, Vesuvius, Capri and Amalfi Coast.
The location is perfect, the hotel staff were fantastic, and the hotel has a great 50s and 60s charm but modern at the same time. The breakfast was the best we have had in any hotel not just in Italy but in Europe. Great variety and the breakfast staff were fantastic. We would stay there again no problems.

Excellent location in Sorrento with beautiful views on to the bay of Sorrento. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and could not have accommodated our needs more. Hotel facilities were also excellent and of a very high standard. We will be back.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic location

Posted 03-Jun-2014
Pros: Beautiful, immaculate hotel with friendly, efficient staff. Lovely swimming pool.It is in the perfect location for exploring Sorrento.
Cons: As always in Europe, tea making facilities in the room would be a bonus.
Location: Sorrento's Pompeian-like cobbled streets, bustling with shops and trattoria. Boat trips, the famous Amalfi drive. Pompeii, Vesuvius, Amalfi, Ravello.
Such a beautiful, clean hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The cleaning staff kept our room immaculate. The hotel is in the perfect location facing into Victory Square with a wonderful view of Vesuvius across the bay, a lovely place to sit at any time of the day or evening to see the ships and boats come in and out of the port. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the main Tasso Square and five minutes from the beautiful Marina Grande. We would return tomorrow if we could. You would be hard pushed to find a better hotel and location.

Central hotel with fabulous staff

Posted 26-May-2014
Pros: This hotel is very traditionally Italian in the reception area, but that all other public areas are modern. I also love the staff and the food!
Cons: The hotel is next to a school which is undergoing construction. While it isn't the fault of the hotel, the construction is sometimes disruptive.
Location: Boat to Capri, walk to the local fishing village, tours to Amalifi, Postitano, Pompeii, and Naples.Local shopping.
This hotel is absolutely lovely. Located just up the hill from the local fishing village and a few blocks from the city centre. There is a beautiful park just outside the hotel with one of best view points looking out over the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The staff are friendly and helpful, with the best recommendations for local food and festivals coming from the evening Bartender, Giovanni. The room was large and always kept immaculately clean, thanks to Anna. The turn down service every evening was catered to our preferences with my husband getting white or milk chocolate on his pillow, while I always received dark chocolate. The bathroom had a power shower, tub, toilet, and a bidet, which my husband found interesting and useful. The pool is surrounded by a wall of Jasmine and lemon trees. It is large, yet the space feels intimate with a lovely pool bar and changing areas. You can also order lunch from the restaurant and eat it next to the pool. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and the buffet on offer is astounding! It caters to British tastes with Bacon and eggs, or a variety of cereals, fruits, and yogurts. If you prefer more a more continental take on breakfast, you have a plethora of pastries, prosecco, cold meats and cheeses to choose from. All in all, this hotel was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon.

Excellent Birthday Location

Posted 24-May-2014
Pros: Room was very clean, the sea view beautiful, rooms visited twice a day, the bedtime chocolate lovely touch. Thanks for the pressco, breakfast brill
Cons: You need to put more character spaces for the above comment as there is much more nice things to say
Location: You could stay in the local vicinity as there is loads to see and excellent choice of restaurants, lovely shopping streets. Local transport close by.
The hotel is in a perfect location, close to the train station, the coach station and boats to The Island of Capri.
