The property was clean and the breakfast was good. The shower was ridiculous and you couldn’t use it without getting water all over the bathroom. The property is far from the downtown area. The hotel shuttle does not run often enough and the cost of a taxi is outrageous. The hotel claims to have a negotiated taxi rate, but it does not.

Terrible customer service and rude staff
Pros: good views, solid pool, frequent shuttle to the city. Cons: the door to our deck was broken, there was no iron in the room, and most importantly, there was no water in the hotel for several hours on our last night, and the hotel’s approach to customer service was appalling. Tina and Massimo were incredibly dismissive and rude, despite the exorbitant cost of a supposed four star hotel. We absolutely will not stay here again and I would recommend others look elsewhere.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room (312) was spotless and the maid came in every day to clean. Big terraced balcony to privately sunbathe with fab views. Lovely big pool and there seemed enough sunbeds and towels to go around. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. The hotel puts on functions so asking what's on at the desk is advised. The Sunday night pianist and singalong, from our balcony looked like lots of fun. The hotel itself is situated 10 mins outside of Sorrento town. There is a free shuttle bus every hour going to and fro. The road itself outside of the hotel is a very busy road with some dangerous bends so walking to town is risky. The rooms are well insulated so the traffic noise at night doesn't really come into the equation. Some parts of the hotel could do with modernising. A pleasant stay and would recommend.

Great place to stay in Sorrento
Really lovely stay, staff couldnt be more friendly and helpful. Food was good, kids loved the pool, and Sky Sports Italia in the bar / lounge showing many Premier League games was a right bonus. Free shuttle into town really useful and always bang on time.

The property is clean but outdated. No netflix or any other streaming service available on the TV. The staff was very friendly. Nothing much to do around the hotel but they have a shuttle that runs every hour that takes you to the main town every hour from 750 am to 11pm. Overall good experience!

Lovely staff, always happy to help! Very clean hotel. Pool area very relaxing and hotel just on the outskirts of sorrento but hotel provide a shuttle bus that runs every hour free of charge! Definitely recommend to others wanting a great base to tour sorrento/Mount Vesuvius/Pompeii etc. Staff are a credit to the hotel!

The property was great. The pool was a highlight as was the huge terrace overlooking the ocean. The staff were friendly, supportive and above all informative. It is my opinion that without question they helped to make our last 3 days visiting Sorrento and Capri the highlight of our trip to Italy.

Great family Choice in Sorrento
Very friendly staff, helpful and smiling ! Hotel has a nice swimming pool and lobby with free shuttle to Sorrento! A beautiful location and very pleasant! Got a junior suite with amazing an balcony with perfect sea view. Highly recommend

Amazing ****
The staff are so friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Lovely hotel, fabulous food, and our room was very spacious with a wonderful view of the sea. The pool was great for everyone and the free, hourly shuttle into the centre of Sorrento was always on time and really useful. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here and will go again.

Nothing special. Should have done better research to know that it was so far away from the city center. Shuttle runs only once per hour. The inconvenience rules this place out for the next trip to a great location

Excellent hotel, very clean, great food, nice pool, spacious rooms, for the most part, excellent staff. Massimo at the front desk was amazing, such a friendly man, recommended the best restaurant for dinner! The shuttle was very inconvenient though, it needs to run every 30 minutes, instead of hourly and not leave early! Since you are in the mountain, it is the only to the main part of Sorrento and a cab ride will cost you $35 Euros one way! The pool man was very unfriendly and was more concerned with cleaning than ensuring people were having a good time. He closed umbrellas while people were still using them and just made us feel uncomfortable all the time and not once during our week stay did he greet us. Despite the issues with the shuttle and pool man, I would highly recommend this hotel. It's service and cleanliness is hard to beat. It was also nice to be away from the busy city and tourists.

Superb service from a very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Could not do enough to accommodate our needs and make us feel right at home. Property was built in 1937 and updated/moderized about 12 years ago into a Best Western, according to the manager. It is maintained to a very high standard, certainly on a par with four star hotels. This is a great place to stay if you like to be away from the intensity and commercial nature of center-city Sorrento. The hotel has a free shuttle to/from the city which takes approximately 10 minutes and runs on the hour everyday between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. The views of Gulf of Naples from the pool deck, the dining room and veranda are breathtaking. If you elect to have breakfast or any other meals at the hotel, you will find the quality, taste, and presentation to be quite good - and reasonably priced.

An oasis in the hills of sorrento
This hotel was such an oasis!!! The staff was so friendly and helpful with anything we asked!!! It was outside of the village but an hourly bus ran to and from all day, on time!! I would highly reccommend this hotel and pool was beautiful

Excellent! I would recommend this hotel to all. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was amazing! Room was comfortable and clean. All in all, it was a good stay also shuttle bus takes you to town.

Very nice. Everything was great. Wish for the price breakfast would have been included. Liked the shuttle and pool area. However, there was mold in the bathroom and ants in the bed. We thought we were getting two queens versus bunk beds as we had 4 adults in the room. Everybody was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay

Great hotel, very friendly staff. Tina on reception helped us with the tours around Sorrento like Herculaneum and Mount Vesuvius. She also booked our return trip to the airport choosing the shuttle bus as the best. She booked this for us and liaised with bus company to sort out the best time for it to pick us up and get us to the airport on time. Great views of the bay from our room. Wide choice at breakfast. The shuttle bus into town is excellent, it starts at 07:50 and runs every hour on the hour from the hotel to the town. It returns at quarter past the hour, every hour until 23:15.

The hotel is very nice, great service with a very professional team. Nice facilities, very convenient shuttle to downtown and free parking for the rental car.

Nice, clean and comfortable
The staff at the hotel is very nice and helpful. Hotel has a shuttle that takes you to Sorreycity center every hour. If traveling by car they have free parking. The breakfast is a full buffet with a beautiful view. Bed are comfortable and room is very clean.

A delightful stay in Sorrento
Convenient location, slightly out of town but with a very efficient shuttle. We had a great room with a terrace and a magnificent view. The staff is very friendly and helpful
