What a charming property! A lovely view and comfortable rooms. It sits on the side of a very steep hill, so they provide a shuttle into town. You really can't walk down into town on the very steep, narrow street.

This hotel’s saving grace is the view. Absolutely gorgeous view overlooking the Bay of Napoli from the pool area and certain rooms. The interior is stark and.… different. We likened it to an upscale hostel. The room is very basic it the bed is comfortable. We had a sewer smell in our bathroom and we notified the front desk. We don’t know if they tried to rectify it, but it was still there on check out day. We had a lovely balcony with loungers overlooking the beautiful pool area and Bay. Unless you make use of the shuttle to get you into town, you are stuck at the hotel. The shuttle is frequent though so you have numerous opportunities to get out and about. The food is mediocre. Breakfast and the snack bar have more choices than the dinner menu. The staff are nice. 3 star rating at the most. Would we return? No.

The breakfast was not great eggs terrible bacon not done coffee weak unless you order espresso which was good. View wonderful! Had a shuttle which was great. The town is nice had a great boat tour on Capri .Overall nice time.

Great Views! The location is great and the hotel has all the things you need when traveling to this area. They also have a very convenient shuttle that takes you to and from the main town. Would definitely stay here again. The sunset is so beautiful.

Beautiful property with beautiful views. The rooms were nice and the food at the restaurant was good and a good price. Only complaint I have is the shuttle times, make sure you confirm the accurate pick up and drop off times, besides that it was amazing!!

Not recommend at all, dirty room with flies, not comfortable beds, smell of mold, not working plumbing system, noisy, behind the window old and dirty house, strange with mental issues pictures in room and hall and far from center.

This hotel was nice, although I found that the shuttle bus to the town needs to run more times as it is very limited. The hotel is located up the top of a massive hill which you cannot walk up and you need to plan ur visits to Sorrento town/station around the shuttle times.

Albeit up a huge un-walkable hill, This has amazing views and a really nice pool, staff were great. Has a minibus service which could be a bit more regular but great all the same. Rooms nothing special but when the main area is like this who cares as you won't spend much time in them. Make sure you have sea view room costs extra but worth it IMO.

Fabulous hotel. Modern with lots of unusual art on display. Friendly staff, good selection at breakfast and clean comfortable rooms including safe. Beautiful pool area with great bar/food service. This hotel is up a narrow windy road with the most amazing views!! Nowhere to walk to as very steep but great free shuttle bus in to Sorrento. I will definitely return as the views far out-weigh the isolated area!

Based on reviews and price per night I thought this was going to be a nice hotel but was I wrong. The only nice thing about this hotel was the view. Other than that it was like staying in a dorm room. Beds awful. Rooms so dirty, they didn’t even change the pool towels the entire time we were there. And there was black stuff in our shower when we arrived. Food terrible. Service, Terrible. Would’ve left the hotel if we could find another place to stay that wasn’t 5k a night. Do not listen to the other reviews because genuinely a horrible hotel.

While the pool is nice the rest of the hotel is a dump. The rooms are filled with cracks on the walls and mold. They advertise smoke free but everyone is smoking. They say no kids but kids all over. They say no pets but also not true. This hotel is a 1 star hostel not a 4 star hotel.

Nice hotel
Lovely hotel. Shuttle bus into the town throught the day so no need to drive yourself. Bar and food served next to the pool. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Honestly, the only person who I liked was the front desk agent "Antonino" - who mainly my wife and I dealt with. Reason being, we were not happy with the hotels accommodation as the rooms looked like they were undergoing renovation and amenities looked outdated. My wife and I spoke to the property manager "Masimo" - he was rude, zero hospitality and only cared about making money. I informed him that I was willing to pay for the one night and would like for a refund for the next 2 nights, but he refused and said I will be charged for all 3 nights. Upon which, I said if I am checking out and you have the room vacant, why would you charge me if you can sell it - he refused to give me my refund and insisted that he will charge my credit card. Seemed like a threat more than anything. We ended up HAVING to stay as we have no choice and did not want to pay for 2 hotel rooms. Please refrain from staying at his hotel, mainly because the hotel rooms and other amenities need major upgrading and the hotel manager needs to learn how to treat guests with hospitality. The only thing going for this hotel is the view and the front desk agent "Antonino".

Great view but disappointing facilities.
The view from the pool and the pool area itself is unrivalled - absolutely stunning. The hotel itself is quite basic and the rooms and bathrooms need updating. Would definitely recommend upgrading to sea view as otherwise you are facing a wall. Unfortunately we were woken up every morning at 630am with a loud and consistent banging that lasted until 9am. When telling the hotel, nothing was done about this and no one came to the room to hear the noise - this did taint our stay. Walk into town was fine - roughly 20 mins but the walk back felt long at night and very dark. The shuttle bus only runs until 11pm so very disappointing when trying to have late meals to fit with the italian culture and beware - this bus is normally full so get there early!

Gorgeous views - great stay!
Had a wonderful time at Gran Paradiso. The views are unreal. Definitely get a sea view room, we loved having a glass of wine with the sunsets. Drinks are very reasonably priced, lunch has some great options too. Shuttle service was such a nice addition to go into town and explore. Thank you for a great trip!

Secluded, quiet and comfortable. The service was great, to the point they made us breakfast to take with us as we had an early flight when checking out. The pool and service was great to relax. The food and views were also a highlight.

Beautiful view of the coast off Italy.
Amazing view with infinity pool overlooking the coast. Great breakfast with many choices. Bar very accommodating. Only negative would be the very narrow street getting to hotel is a straight uphill climb if your walking. It’s a 20-30€ for a cab and hotel shuttle has limited runs.

Beautiful hotel so peaceful and friendly
We had the best room huge balcony over looking the pool and sea and amazing views all around. The only thing I would say to change is I’m a nice size room, no drawers and no mirror at dressing table on I’m bathroom or on door which had no plug nearby. The rest of the hotel is stunning and we will definitely return

This hotel is simply too far away from main part of Sorrento. As well as the piers for departure to Capri and other day trips. Shuttle service is infrequent and not dependable which means a round trip to central part of town is 50 euros. Staff at the front desk,waiters, and bartenders have a very poor and condescending attitude. Nicest part of the hotel is the pool and view. But this is overshadowed by poor and unfriendly attitude of staff. Much better to stay at another hotel more centrally located where staff understands the importance of being user friendly to tourists.

Excellent hotel with breath taking views
We loved our sea view room and enjoyed the large balcony where we could relax and watch ch the most amazing Sunsets we’ve ever watched. We particularly liked their shuttle service to the city center. This hilltop hotel is a great place to stay while vacationing in Sorrento or the Amalfi Coast region.

Once you book your stuck and this hotel will take complete advantage it was all about how much money they could extract from you. Staff walked in without knocking twice hotel is dated waste of money not waste of money over 525 Euro per night not worth it! under $100.00 a night maybe.

After a long day of travel I arrived at the hotel and was told my room that had been fully paid for through Expedia was not yet ready and "please have a drink while you wait". After one sip the manager summoned me to the registration desk to tell me that the hotel was overbooked and a room would not be available. "Please allow us to offer you accommodations at another area hotel. We'll drive you there, no charge!" How kind of them. While the alternate hotel was nice enough it was not what I booked.

Very enjoyable stay. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean. Very europen, clean lines minimalistic tile and bed with desk. We uograded to a room overlooking the ocean. Well worth the extra. Not for a short break
If you are travelling for a summer pool break this hotel is a good choice, great views. If you are on more of a “city break” then it’s a bad location and you are really tied to the schedule of the mini bus unless you want to pay 20-30 euro for a taxi each way. Rooms are sparse, doesn’t have a 4* feel. Staff are lovely!

Great views across Sorrento and the Bay of Naples.
The hotel offers a comfortable base for exploring Sorrento and surrounds. All the hotel staff were helpful, friendly and made us welcome. Special mention must be made to the front desk manager Massimo Fiorentino who went the extra mile to assist us.The hotel is full of modern art and each room is decorated in a different style. Being bed and breakfast only my wife and I chose to eat most evening meals out in different restaurants in Sorrento. The 3 evening meals that we chose to eat in were reasonably priced, the most disappointing fact was that all the main fish dishes used frozen fish. We had a 4th floor sea view room with a balcony which provided spectacular views of the Bay of Naples.

Wonderful hotel with amazing staff
My second time in Sorrento and it only gets better. We just had a basic room but could not fault a thing. Hotel has amazing views with regular transport to Sorrento centre which takes about 5 mins. Though we did walk a few times and takes about 15 mins. Staff could not do more for you and good that we had in hotel was 1st class. A wonderful sample of Italian culture

Breathtaking views
The views from the sea facing rooms are breathtaking. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are immaculate. The staff are friendly and me and my partner enjoyed a stroll down to Sorrento in the evening, but got the shuttle back. We only had lunch on one occasion in the hotel and the food was average, hence eating out in one of the many restaurants in Sorrento

This was an amazing hotel to stay in. It's located in an elevated area so the view from the room and especially from the pool/breakfast area was gorgeous. The rooms were pretty and well maintained, and the staff was nice and attentive. The free transport from the bus station was an added plus (wish we had known before we walked up the hill the first time).

Loved the hotel. Large rooms with big terrace and stunning view.Large pool. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Convenient shuttle bus that goes to city center almost every hour. Very nice breakfast with plenty to choose from. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
