“A Week Solo in Trondheim”
I was traveling by myself while staying in this hotel. It was relatively easy to find when walking from the train station and was greeted at the desk quite warmly. I was even permitted to check in a little early as I had nowhere else to go with my luggage. The room was clean and small, with a tv and small sitting area, and plenty of blankets for a traveler like me who is used to living in a desert. Breakfast is sent in little bags left on the door in the morning with a light sandwich, fruit, and orange juice. Nothing fancy, but filling. A coffee maker and hot water are available on the second floor for anyone's use. The hotel was under construction at the time of my visit, so as such, there was quite a bit of daytime noise as they prepared to add a restaurant into the first floor of the hotel. However, the walls of the rooms can be quite thin, and evenings can be a bit bothersome if you're next to someone noisy. The real benefit of this hotel is its close proximity to several major points in Trondheim such as Nidaros Cathedral and the Archbishop's Palace. Everything I might need was within walking distance, including three supermarkets, an apothecary, and enough shopping and dining to fill a good amount of time.

The hotel was very convenient to the downtown area and well worth the money. I felt very comfortable there and would certainly stay there again and recommend it to others.

Et OK hotell, men siden hotellet var under oppussing, så virket standarden veldig nøktern. Men jeg tror det blir et fint hotell så snart oppussingen er ferdig.
