“Lovely hotel”
We had a great night at the Valley Ford Hotel. Really lovely, light and clean room. Bed was comfortable, sheets crisp and soft. Breakfast just right. Warm fresh boiled egg, small pecan pie, granola, fruit and fresh coffee. The bar is lively and happening and restaurant service efficient in spite of a very crowded night. Food was delicious. The Rocker Oysterfellows to die for. Dillon Beach just 7 beautiful miles away and perfect for a long walk or just hanging and watching the crabbers and fishermen.
“bates hotel”
This isNOT a bed and breakfast.....They DO NOT SERVE BREAKFAST. Very quaint place no T.V., no phone,no air conditioner. and no smoking in the rooms. At one point we where there all alone and our toilet plugged up and we had to get one from the general store and fix it ourselves. Needless to say this was interesting stay. The proprietors where very nice when they where there.
“A nice Get-away”
This is an historic building so the rooms are not large but comfortable. My husband would have preferred a king bed but only queens are available and there are no TV's or phones which I loved. Rooms facing the highway might be too noisy for some travelers. I did find it strange that we never registered - our key was waiting in an envelope on the porch but the manager/owner(?) was very pleasant when we asked for some directions even though I felt like we were disturbing her. My biggest complaint would be that I searched for hotels in Bodega Bay and this was about 10 miles inland from Bodega Bay. It wasn't exactly as close as I was lead to believe. Other than that, I'd go back.
“great bed and breakfast near Bodega Bay”
This is a great little place to stay if this area is your destination. Other than the road way traffic, we really enjoyed this hotel. The amenities were limited but comfort was excellant. There is a little all purpose grocery store across the street that had anything you may need in the area of refreshments and food.
“Best Dog friendly hotel in the Bodega bay area!!!!”
This is a great hotel for people with pets visiting coastal Sonoma county and environs. Cute, clean and super affordable! Check it out!
