“Good for the price and location”
Upon arriving to the hotel I found the hotel sign was not very visible. The parking lot is very small, but we were able to find a spot. The room was dated, but spacious. It did have a nice fireplace, fridge, and it was decent for what we paid. The room heater/cooling system was not the best if you have allergies. What I did like was the location, which was across the street from Whole Foods and CVS if you need anything. It was also walking distance from the town square and numerous restaurants. Trivia night at Murphy's was fun. Rin Thai had great food. Jacuzzi, Benziger, Gloria Ferrar were all great for wine and even champagne.
“Wining and Dining and Reclining”
A great jumping off point for wine tasting in the Sonoma area. Our group of six booked adjacent rooms connected by back-to-back doors. It made our stay much more social. Breakfast in the hotel's "Krug Center" was adequate, but nothing special. The hotel is only a block from the downtown square, and ther are lots of dining options nearby.
“Great staff, Hotel and location”
What first attracted us to the was the recommendation to go to Sonoma instead of Napa and boy was it right on. This hotel is right in the center of town and we could walk to the town square restaurants and even a few wineries! There is a grocery store across the street too. The best part of the hotel is the staff though. Robert who checked us in was very knoledgeable and gracious and even got us some free tasting coupons. The room was perfect and had a real fireplace. It looked out over the courtyard which had just added a nice hot tub, pool and fire pit.........all for a great low price....unbelievable..breakfast too!..one of the best stays on our 2 week trip.
“definitetly recommend”
We would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again.
“Wonder hotel with hot tub, outside firepit & fireplace in the room”
Wonder Would return again.
“Good location,attractive room........but”
TV did not work and no one attempted to replace or fix it........ditto for a bed lamp....Nobody to enforce the Jacuzzi hours so folks stayed in the tub til late night hours..The woman upstairs paced the floor most of the night and kept us awake (not the hotels fault)......but everytime she used the plumbing it sounded like Niagra Falls in our room..The hotel was doing construction in the front, hindering access......The good news is...the price for the room was very reasonable ..the room was cozy and clean....fireplace with a presto log made it romantic....decent continental breakfast.......walking distance to Sonoma Square. The desk clerks were very nice and helpful....The small stuff did not ruin our stay and we would recommend this gem to anyone.
“Sonoma Best Western”
We had just come from the BW in Novato. Sonoma's hotel did not seem as upscale. It probably would have scored higher if we had gone to Sonoma first.
“We were very pleased with the hotel and the amenities!”
There were 4 people in our party (2 rooms) and we all commented that the hotel was very updated and the staff was very friendly. We loved the fireplace and short walking distance to restaurants and shops in Sonoma. All of us would definitely stay at this hotel again!
“Helpful Staff”
Good hotel, larger than average room, great location and very helpful staff.
“Great location”
This is a motel rather than a hotel. The rooms are dated but comfortable and clean and are great value considering it is a short walk to the central square. Would recommend for value for money but not a plush romantic getaway.
