“Small room but nice motel. Staff went out of their way to serve you.”
Well run motel. Owners and staff were great and rooms were kept clean. Also, they wash their bedspreads once a month so that the smoking smell is eliminated. I don't know of any motel that washes their bedspreads. Great place to stay.
“Clean,small rooms”
Clean, small rooms...ok for overnight stay, continental breakfast was pathetic.
“A comfortable low-end choice in Petaluma”
They honored my request for a quiet room and an early checkin. The breakfast choicesand coffee were quite good for a low-end hotel.
“Marginal”
I would rate this motel/hotel at the lower end. I guess you pay for what you get. This was an economical choice. Although we had a two night stay, they did not clean the room until 4:30 PM. So, when we got back to the room at 4:00 PM, we had no clean towels. The beds weren't made and the room was not tidy. In the late evening, we did not have a parking space as all the spaces were taken (casino aross the way shares some of the same parking lot).
“clean, comfortable and inexpensive”
I have to say when I first pulled up, I was a little afraid. The place is right next to a "casino." Since I know I wasn't on a reservation, I'm not sure what kind of gambling they had, but I was pretty sure it wasn't the kind that draws Vegas high-rollers. The hotel itself looks like it has been around for a while (there's a little wear and tear around the edges), so I was a little leery when I went to check in. I was met by a very pleasant woman and I was feeling a little better until I discovered my room directly overlooked the casino parking lot. Would it be loud? Would there be drunken gamblers out there loitering until the wee small hours? Good thing I packed earplugs! The room itself was small but clean, with a mini-fridge (NOT the kind where you pay $12 for a soda, but the kind you can fill with your own food and beverage) and a microwave - a nice touch that I would've taken advantage of had I been staying longer. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was surprisingly decent for a hotel. The only oddity I found was that there was no clock in the room - strange. Anyway, turns out I never needed those earplugs, keeping the under-window fan on low served as the perfect white noise, and with that comfortable bed, I got a great night's sleep while I was there. I'd totally recommend this place for anyone traveling on a budget.
“sleazy”
Really chizy, tacky hotel. They swipe your driver's license. They say it is their policy. It is an unacceptable policy. They told us, 'in case the police need it, we swipe your driver's license.' We asked, 'what happens to that information?' They had no good reply. Never again. There is a good Raley's nearby though.
“First rate”
After reading some of the initial reviews of this motel I was somewhat reluctant to make a reservation, but I did anyway. What I found when I arrived was FAR BETTER than anything I expected. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly and I found everything in very good order. I must give this highest marks in all of the rated categories. In all, I had a very pleasant stay and will do it again.
“Skeevy hotel”
It was a nasty, cheap hotel. Made me & my husband feel "dirty". Made me feel like a hooker or drug addict there. Will not go back regardless of how "cheap" it is.
“great for the money”
very nice owners
“Surprised”
I have to say I was looking strictly at price when I booked this hotel and was pleasantly surprised. The room was small but clean, well furnished (perhaps a little too much furniture) with a pillow top mattress and refrigerator. Complimentary continental was a little weak; single pack danish and cereal but the coffee and oj were good
