Delicious food and thoughtful staff. The setting is gorgeous and very close to the Strand as well as several vineyards and shopping. The spa was lovely, two nice swimming pools...we were delighted with our stay. The staff were also very helpful with our young children.
The location of the hotel was good, as it was only about a 5 min walk to the beach, the lodger was brilliant, so friendly and polite, made you feel like your the only person in the world. Excellent just excellent. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Had an amazing stay, thank you!
My stay was only for one night, so I was not able to enjoy all of the facilities, however, my room, breakfast and the service was very good. The hosts were also very nice and helpful. They promptly returned to me some valuable items I had forgotten in the safe. My only reason for giving 4 stars is the fact that there is no easy access to Cape Town except by hired or private car. Even though it's about 20-30 mins drive from Cape Town, I couldn't get a taxi and since I did not drive I had to wait around to be collected.

Superb position to explore the Western Cape. Lovely hosts and a great B&B retreat. Would recommend highly and would stay again. Somerset West is very central and the B&B isin the middle of loads of pubs, shops and restuarants.
