“Sleep in your car!”

For the price, I expected the basics. I thought I would get a bed, TV, WiFi, and bathroom with scrimpy towels that was clean. But, I did expect customer service. The TV didn't work. After being told it was fixed, it wasn't. The person sent to fix it pressed buttons on the remote for 10 minutes uselessly, and left to get a cart to replace it. In unplugging it, I found the cable barely connected; I fixed it myself. The fire alarm sounded in the middle of the night; false alarm, not their fault. Next morning up early to check out and drive, no elevator with no sign stating it didn't work. A call to the desk got me a cursory "Use the stairs" and no offer of help getting multiple bags down 4 flights of stairs. All doors exiting were locked necessitating another walk to the front lobby doors. The cleaning staff blocked the closest stairwell with their cart to carry their things up. Check out was again a cursory "Checking out?". So, if you have a newer car, sleep there and find a clean available restroom, you'll have your amenities without paying for the thoughtless behaviors.

“Wonderful hotel”

I have stayed here several times and simply love this place. The location is great with several restaurants around. The price is always good and you get a clean room with free water (cooler), free WiFi and a free breakfast. You are just minutes away from Newark and NYC. A great place.

Customer service is terrible. I was wake all night due to comfort level of beds. Looks like the Beds are 15 century BC old. If one person turns moves around the bed, its like jumping jackson on the beds. Bed springs are really bad.

“Beware of smoking rooms”

When I book with Expedia I am careful to select a non-smoking room, but somehow we were put in a smoking room. The staff claimed that there were no non-smoking rooms available. I got to choose between two smoking rooms to select the one with the least smell of smoke. Other than that, our stay was enjoyable. Breakfast was skinpy--coffee and donut.

“Wonderful hotel and convenient location”

This is a great hotel. There are many fun restaurants around. There is free breakfast and WIFi and parking. The hotel is elegant and comfortable.

“DONT TAKE THE ELEVATOR”

The hotel was fine, but at one point in our stay my husband and 14year old daughter got stuck in the elevator. I went down to the front desk to let them know and the lady at the desk was on the phone and didn't even acknowlege what I was telling her, and another employee was standing behind her watching my other family members trying to get the elevator open. He didn't speak or even look in my direction, just stared at the monitor watching. Finally my other daughter got the door open and freed them, no thanks to the hotel staff. I didn't have any other issues with the hotel but this did put a bad taste in my mouth for this hotel!

we booked a queen size bed and when we checked in we were told it wasn't available so they gave us an upgrade to two full size beds. where's the upgrade i would have thought a king size

I think the service was better than last time.Everyone was friendly.
