Good location, friendly staff. Room 18 was shabby and uncared for, loose toilet seat, grab rail next to bath was loose and rusty, mould on tiles, no bathroom blind, exposed, raised screw on bathroom floor where door stop would have been. Bin broken, large wet patch on the carpet when we arrived and didn’t dry out. Cobwebs and dust everywhere throughout the whole building, stair carpet was filthy and not hoovered during the two days we stayed. This stay was not worth the money that we paid and we would not recommend or return.

Lovely older style hotel. Really super helpful staff. Easy access for my elderly parents. I hope we'll be back in Minehead soon so we can stay here again.

The staff made us feel very welcome. They were very warm and attentive. The room was spacious and clean. We stayed in a family room, under the bed was a bed rail and pop up crib. The breakfast was very nice, with great options available. We took our son to the hotels pool for a swim, the pool was lovely and clean! Overall it was a lovely stay and we will definitely be returning!

Lovely stay
Space was clean, tidy, friendly, free parking, nice location. I missed breakfast so can’t review that but in general o was very happy. Will be back when I’m next in Minehead

Great time
We had a lovely time, the hotel was very comfy and the staff all very patient and helpful. We ate in the hotel in the evenings for ease and the food was good `pub grub`

Excellent location - only a short walk to the town centre and the beach. The hotel has lovely gardens which would be nice to relax in on a dry day! My room was quite old fashioned but clean and comfortable with a large shower. Breakfast was good.

Hotel was pleasant nice surroundings comfy bed annoying back ground noise from boiler pump running constant goes of at11pm comes back on at 6am toilet wont flush once pump stops running at 11pm awake at 4.45am as curtains like tissue paper overall not a good stay for us did complain to hotel reception but not really bothered so wont be returning

Value for money and very nice staff
Nice clean hotel. Could do with some areas being decorated and updated. Service was very good and helpful. Breakfast was served quickly and food very nice. I think the hotel was good for value.

Room was too hot. Staff especially the lady at reception was very kind and nice. Even looked after my dog while I used the swimming pool and steam room. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are dated and was very hot but the ambiance and staff made the stay very pleasant

Great stay - friendly staff.
Lovely comfortable stay, friendly staff and will definitely be back again. Ample parking, didn't explore the gardens and pool/sauna 8 till 8. Great breakfast and good coffee.

An enjoyable stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay, there were lots of very pleasant and welcoming staff. Although the hotel is old fashioned it is freshly painted with new modern touches. Extremely clean . Excellent pool and we had lovely weather so able to sit on the terrace overlooking the gardens with a pre dinner drink. The food was good too. An older clientelle, we were the youngest, but a fun atmosphere.

Comfortable but with much room for improvement.
Deluxe room was spacious but the bathroom was nothing like luxury. Small taps and basin. Missing shower riser cap. Very small shower door. Reception hole-in-the-wall type arrangement with receptionist sitting down does not give a good first impression. Basically it was the hotel office with lots of clutter and doubling up as a reception. Breakfast was terrible, possibly the worst I've experienced in the last few years. Overcooked eggs, under cooked bacon and sausages. Everything litterally swinming in a centimeter of liquid grease. Also, any restaurant should not allow customers to sit with dirty plates in front of them for more than a couple of minutes at most. Ours were finally cleared but I noticed that other people left their table with mountains of dirty plates still on the table. Overall the hotel is comfortable but I wouldn't stay here again and found it to be quite overpriced for the level stay you can expect. I guess it all depends on what you are used to. Perhaps staying in a seaside hotel attracts people with different expectations.

Enjoyable 5 night stay. Food was excellent as were staff. Very good location near quiet end of sea front and easy walkable access to town and the amenities.

Lovely Hotel
A lovely Hotel set in a beautiful location. From our room(15) we had a view of the gardens and the sea. The room was a great size with ample tea&coffee making facilities. The hotel is located a vey short distance from the sea front and has plenty of parking. We had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone. Hopefully next time we will bring our swimming stuff and go in the pool!
