The booking procedure was clear and simple to follow.
We were made very welcome on arrival and given full explanation of procedures.
The staff were very friendly and helpfu.
The breakfast was super.
The room was just what we wanted and had a neat area for a couple of small children to stay as well.
Everything was neat and tidy but you felt at home in the surroundings.
We would definiltely return if in Somerset.
Absolutely fantastic stay. Kim was wonderful, breakfast excellent. Room was so clean and catered for our needs, great selection on courtesy tray (including gorgeous biscuits and a chocolate). We stayed with our son and granddaughter (under a year old) and baby slept for 11 hours, better than at home. Perfect stay, will definitely stay again.
Staff were friendly and very helpfull. Parking was good. Room was clean though our bathroom floor sloped, due to age of original building.Downside, when we entered the room it smelt damp (musky), which soon cleared when we opened the window.Accommodation was warm and the bed was very comfortable.Good breakfast.

It is a nice hotel, situated in the centre of Glastonbury. We had a nice, large, comfortable room at the front of the building, with views of both the Abbey and the Tor. The breakfast was very nice and there was a varied menu to choose from. The hotel is within walking distance of everything Glastonbury has to offer so was perfect for us.

We stayed for one night in Sept. 2014 on our way down to the coast. The B&B was easy to find, and upon our arrival the owner made us a lovely cup of tea. The room was spacious and extremely clean. The town centre and restaurants, pubs etc were only a short walk away. We had a very comfortable night and in the morning the breakfast was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this B&B to anyone, as it is extremely clean and comfortable, and the owner takes great pride in his level of service.
It was good to stay in a hotel which is different to the more modern spa hotels where all the rooms are the same.
The staff are keen to assist in any way they can. The receptionist remembered my name and staff in the restaurant had the knack of being there when needed and somewhere else when not. The restauant may not be to everyone's taste. It seeks to be high cuisine which means the food is very good but the portions, whilst adequate, may seem a bit small to some. It is also expensive. However, unusually for this type of restaurant there are some reasonably priced wines available. I would recommend that guests try the restauant at least once but if you prefer something more homely there is a really good pub about 200 yards away with a thatched roof, cask ales and the home baked pies are just brilliant.
Breakfast at this hotel is teriffic. Its not the usual buffet available in most hotels anywhere on the planet - you order what you want and they prepare it fresh. Try the porridge - its great - actually, so are the muffins and eggs, - and the salmon - and the full English and the coffee - they even get the toast right!
The spa is very good. It is small but there is a hot tub, warm pool (not really big enough to swim in) a sauna, steam room , laconium and various showers. They also let you wander around the hotel in your bathrobes.
This is a good hotel which is not pretentious in any way. I would have no hesitation in recomending it to friends.
