Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: Adapters available.....friendlier employees...especially the check in people
Nice hotel ..... Close to the airport....FOOD was good... Requested an adaptor for my hair curling iron and the hotel did not have any to let patrons use... You could purchase them from a vending machine... This was the only place in the UK that an adaptor was not available to use.

Very good hotel

Posted 22-Sep-2014
Pros: Convenient position and very good swimming pool
Cons: The room would be improved by the addition of a COMFORTABLE chair. Light breakfast costs more if you eat in the restaurant, room service £1.50 less?
Location: Lovely views. SS Great Britain, Tyntesfield and Oakham Treasures all very interesting. Clevedon is great seafront with free parking.
We stayed for 4 nights and found the whole experience very relaxing. The staff were very polite. The swimming pool next door was clean and convenient.

Not a 4*

Posted 30-Aug-2014
Doesn't have a Hilton feel. Carpets are old, ill fitted, stained with gums around the hotel. Room wasn't hoovered to a high standard, as they was hair on the floor and cobwebs by the windows. Hotel is not to far from the airport and you can hear planes flying in the early morning. Not a nice hotel experience. However, leisure centre by the hotel was very nice.

What you expect from a Hilton Hotel

Posted 19-Aug-2014
Pros: Staff were very helpful and attentive
Cons: Main parking area outside the hotel could be larger.
Location: Yatton is about a 10 minute walk from the Hotel has all the usual amenities of a small town. The railway station is about a 20 minute walk.
Everything was exactly as you would expect from a hotel of this standard. We visited specifically for the Bristol Balloon fiesta and found this hotel excellent for it's location. The breakfast was buffet style but the food was always hot/ constantly refreshed and Rebecca was always helpful and greeted you with a smile. We only had one evening meal in the hotel but there are no complaints from us (right amount of food at the right price).

Nice hotel - poor parking

Posted 17-Aug-2014
Pros: Nice location
Cons: Install another lift, frost all the glass to the shower, provide suitcase stand and a facility to shut off light to the ceiling windows
Location: Convenient for Bristol
Very peculiar arrangement with the shower (glass wall into room) and mirrors!! No suitcase stand (not supplied in standard rooms, I'm told!). Wifi is chargeable - not what I expected in a 4 star hotel. Only 1 lift small holding about 4 people which is not adequate for such a large hotel

Lovely location

Posted 12-Aug-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: The bathroom door and window. Soundproofing between rooms.
We had a twin room, it was very tight on space around the beds but was ok for the one night and bed reasonably comfortable. Bathroom was clean but the door arrangement was bizarre, and frosted glass window into bedroom was inappropriate if not a couple. Shower was excellent and powerful. Only the Marco restaurant in the actual hotel, the bistro was in the club down the driveway, not remotely convenient. Spa also down the driveway so we didn't use it. Food was excellent. Staff helpful and friendly. Fantastic view from the front of the hotel. Very uneven grounds, lots of slopes and steps not ideal for those with disabilities and blue badge parking bays not monitored. Only 1 lift inside the hotel. Our disappointment was the thin walls so we could hear every word being said in the neighbouring room.

Picturesque hotel set in peaceful surroundings

Posted 11-Aug-2014
Pros: The staff were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful, and the quality of the food was second to none. This made for a very enjoyable stay.
Cons: The beds, and particularly the pillows as they were too soft and provided no support meaning we did not sleep well on either night of our weekend stay
If you're looking for a retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life then you should certainly consider this hotel. The first impression was very favourable, and this was supported by the excellent service from the hotel staff who couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was everything we were hoping for. The quality of the food was also exceptional, both in terms of the presentation and the taste which were both faultless, and the range and quality of the spa treatments available are first class. The only disappointments we experienced were the noise from guests staying on the same floor as us which went on until well past 11:30pm even though there were signs up in the hotel on each floor asking guests to be considerate and keep the noise to a minimum after 10pm; and the beds, which did not provide a good night's sleep mainly due to the pillows which were so soft they lacked any support and could have been non-existent. However, these are minor inconveniences that can easily be resolved and I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends, family and work colleagues. In fact, we are even thinking of making this a regular place to visit when we have weekends without the children, as it is the perfect setting to relax, unwind and get away from the stresses and trials of everyday life.
