Definitely it is one of our best vacation spot from many places we visited. No humidity, no mosquitoes, good service and good food. Staff was very friendly, helpful and trying to please in every turn. The beach is clean and sandy. The sea is slightly cool (it was early April) when you enter but very nice afterwards. The weather was between 76 -82 around the clock! Some areas of the building are showing their ages. But still well maintained. The food was plenty and very tasty. Attention to details was very noticeable. How can you beat such a place 🙏🐟👋🥰 We are planning to come again for sure!👍👍👍👍🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

The setting is magical. The hotel looks tired and needs refreshing. Management staff and housekeeping were excellent Restaurants staff, especially at breakfast, were not so good. They are under the impression that good service is being obsequious when they are actually ineffective.

I stayed in Sheraton Soma Bay 6 years ago and I was not impressed with the food and buffet. But this time its a totally different story. The buffet was fantastic and the service was amazing . Special thanks to the room attended Mohamed . Special thank you for Yasser "restaurants manager" he answered my questions . And most importantly to assistant Manager Monssef , he was very accommodating in all our requests. Mr. Monssef went over and above and made us feel welcomed .

I had a great experience about this hotel 3 years ago when I stayed there am not sure if management changed?! I recommended the hotel to my niece that was celebrating her honeymoon she just got married two weeks ago and that was my gift for her. I live in US and used my credit card for the payment I could easy dispute the charges however it is not my way. Unfortunately she complained about her stay and quality of the food even she complained to front desk who couldn’t help or at least offer to upgrade her room as kind of compensation . It is basic customer service. I thought it is better to write directly to the hotel instead of leaving bad reviews on trip advisor…etc looking forward to hear from the management

The design of the hotel is unique, in the form of a beautiful pharaonic temple, with a private beach. Hotel staff are very helpful and always smiling. Restaurant Abidos serves delicious meals. you have to book the All inclusive option as there aren't many option outside the hotel. The hotel was crowded with many local guests, and probably selling its rooms cheaper by far to accommodate employees of companies or unions, which is not an advantage at all for the rest of the guests coming from outside Egypt.

Not a 5 star!
The hotel is old yet clean. The rooms are basic with no toiletries except for shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner. The hotel is on z bay, the beach is beautiful and there are some corals nearby for snorkeling We were on half board basis. The open buffet breakfast was very good, dinner was quite bad as the food was mostly tasteless. All in all, not a 5 star hotel, maybe 3.5 at the most. Sheraton needs to do some major work if they want to sell this as a 5 star hotel.

The architecture of the hotel is stunning, it adds to the feeling of exclusivity when staying in the hotel. The facilities are well kept and clean. One of the advantages is advantage is the proximity to the jetty that leads to a coral reef. There are several criticisms. Although there is plenty of staff in the restaurant, very few of them seem to speak English, German or Russian. One more criticism is regarding an entertainment program, which could be drastically improved. The only show (a folk show) that was planned took place in a cafe that was difficult to find.

I can’t say enough good things about Sheraton Soma Bay. To start off with, the location couldn’t get better, right on the clear blue waters of the Red Sea, in an extremely serene area, perfect for a vacation in paradise. The hotel itself is beautiful and sparkling clean with great food. However, the thing that really stands out is the outstanding service and kind staff. They take really good care of you and whatever you need. Make sure to ask for Taha at the outside bar and Ibrahim at the restaurant. Honestly, I don’t want to single anyone out cause there isn’t a single person I didn’t absolutely love! Their personal driver, Ahmed, who picks you up from the airport is an absolute angel and all the front desk staff are incredible! Don’t think twice about this and book your stay instantly!

Very nice property with very nice beach. Staff were nice ,friendly and want to help and that can be seen with Mohammed at the front disk. Restaurants were good and they serve fresh seafood 😋. Rooms were nice and ok but they need renovation because they are old.

A fantastic stay at this beautiful resort 😍 Very clean, strict covid compliance 10/10 Massive thanks to all the staff, particularly to Taher and Taha @Beach Bar, Ramy at the Lobby Bar and Hisham for looking after my room. One downside are the shops in the hotel lobby selling fake handbags and watches and trying to charge €30 for aftersun lotion.....best stick to the supermarket at the marina. Overall a great resort Looking forward to coming back !

Renovation would make it a good hotel resort
We appreciate the hotel management system if something was wrong specially in service they tried to make it good. Friendly staff, Breakfast is good. Food is good in Fish restaurant. Buffet was not really convincing. We enjoyed the seaview in our balcony room. Room was cleaned but the condition of our room specially the bathroom is very old, we were not happy there were red molds in the bathroom. Coral reef for snorkling is 400meters away. Bike rental 100 meters away. If the condition of the room is not bad as we had, we would come back . Its a nice hotel resort for a family.

Beautiful resort! Service and staff were wonderful! Clean, large beach with lots of water sports to enjoy! Only complaints...you do not experience Egypt, you are will all tourists. Also, you are sort of trapped on the resort, it’s far from any city and hard to travel around.

Food quality is very poor , we were a group of 17 people staying for 5 days most of us got diarrhea several times They sell you all inclusive and every food point defines it differently allowing products others font allow Discussion with management team was getting to an agreement then they contact the service point asking them not to honor their agreement. Very poor Managment

Value for money
Overall is ok, good value for money. Staff is really helpful and rooms are good as well, just needs some renovation but nothing major. Food is average but good enough to get you full. My only advice is to make sure everything you needed is present and don’t be hesitant to double check with everyone there if they have accommodated your requests (or even ask again) whether it was food/drink, activity or a trip! We had a bit of situation with some activities due to employees not really paying attention.

Amazing beach, good food, nice location but far from outing or services, kind and helpful stuff, spacious rooms and very clean, the property is old but still in good shape! The only thing I didn’t like they charge you for everything (ice for example) which is not usual in 5 stars hotel! The water bottles are expensive and they know that because of the location!!

It is very spacious and good for relaxing. The beach is spectacular. I really liked the cleaning staff too. The lady who cleaned our room was very friendly.

Beautiful resort, cockroaches in room and all over lobby. Told front desk as there was a cockroach crawling in front and staff did nothing about it!

Thank you for your comments , Regarding the cockroaches its Black Ground Beetle and its was in all over the red sea and there due too At the being time followed plagues are available temporary caused by extreme weather changes . Occasionally repeatedly within a period of 4-7 years witnessed in Egypt .
