“Best choice”

A great hotel besides a shopping mall and near the train station. Room is large, specially a washing room, nice and clean. Breakfast is great with a lot of choice. However, the price for the phone call is extremely expensive. Internet access is great, so should use Skype!

“Well located”

The hotel is in a suburb but is very well situated next to the commuter railway line; only 15 minutes by train to central Stockholm. It is also next door to a very pleasant and modern shopping mall. The room was very clean and spacious. I was first given a room overlooking an internal atrium without natural light but it was promptly changed to an external facing room when I requested it. The buffet breakfast was good quality and plentiful.

“Great location for exploring the city”

Great hotel, easy walk to the train station that can take you all over the city. Our room was a "two room suite" at the price of a normal room. We were very pleased. There is a big shopping center (indoor mall) right next door also!

Area recommendations
Gamli Stan (Old City) Vasa Museum (ancient warship 95% restored, absolutely amazing museum) Boat trips out into the Stockholm Archipelago of islands (there are literally thousands of islands in the Baltic Sea immediately outside Stockholm
Getting around
You do NOT need a rental car in Stockholm, and it would be a waste of money. For about $35 or less US, you can get a week's pass to ride all the busses, subways, and trains, and even a ferry or two. Unlimited, and you can get just about anywhere without worrying about insurance, gas, or parking expenses.

“Hotel Scandic Star Sollentuna”

Vicino al treno che collega in 15 minuti alla Stazione Centrale di Stoccolma e nella direzione contraria al capolinea bus per l'Aeroporto, vicino a Grande Centro Commerciale. Buoni i servizi congressi (sala, breaks, pranzo a buffet). Zona tranquilla

“Prima Hotel”

Ganz toller Kurzurlaub im Scandic Star Sollentuna - Preis und Leistung haben hier gestimmt, wir waren sehr gut untergebracht, nach Stockholm waren es ca. 15 Minuten mit dem J-train (72h Pass zu empfehlen) und die Station gleich neben dem Hotel. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich, Restaurant von der Qualität gut, aber Personal dort unaufmerksam. Zimmer war sehr in Ordnung und auch groß genug, allerdings getrennte Betten. Negativ, dass kein deutschsprachiger TV Sender empfangen wurde, der morgens oder abends aktuelle Informationen lieferte.
